Welcome Home Inn Bed & Breakfast

Located on six wooded acres, Welcome Home Inn is a Southern Farmhouse style home located a few minutes north of Columbus, Ohio. Nestled in the country, guests can relax to the music of singing birds, watch the deer poised quietly on the edge of the woods and observe the raccoons scampering near the house. You can even hike into the trees to see wildlife and nature at its best on the mile walking trail.

Enjoy the flowering crab apple trees in the spring, stare at the rainbow of hues as trees burst into color in the fall or watch a winter wonderland develop in the winter. Sit on the huge wrap-around open porch highlighted with wicker furniture, or have breakfast on the large screened-in porch.

An unusually large dining room with a grand piano set beneath two antique stained glass windows provides a romantic atmosphere for dining. The open living room, tastefully decorated with an antique mantle surrounding the fireplace, provides a cozy place to curl up with a book on a cool day. Oak antiques accent much of this area.

Columbus Zoo & Aquarium plus Zoombeezi Bay Water Park

This is presently ranked as the number one Zoo in the nation and located only five minutes from the Inn. During the Christmas season, a dazzling and spectacular lighting of the trees is provided for visitors. During the summer an old Paddle Wheel Boat provides scenic trips up the river. Attached to the Zoo is the incredible water park providing fun in the sun.

Olentangy Indian Caverns

Located five minutes away are the Olentangy Indian Caverns where seasonal daily tours are available

Marina & River

Located one mile from the Inn is the Scioto River with a boat marina. You can fish along its banks or by boat.

Memorial Golf Tournament

The nationally televised Memorial Golf Tournament in Muirfield is only five minutes away

Sports Highlights

There are dozens of golf courses in the Columbus area, the Columbus Blue Jackets National Hockey League arena, the Columbus Clippers new baseball stadium, Buckeye sports at The Ohio State University and the Little Brown Jug in Delaware.

Park Walking Path

A couple of minutes up the road by foot is Concord Park with a walking path, tennis courts, ball diamonds and children's play area.

The Inn is 35 minutes from the Columbus Airport, 10 minutes from Delaware, 5 minutes from Dublin and 25 minutes from Downtown Columbus.

We have two rooms that will take four persons and families can stay in them and be away from our regular guests in the other three rooms. Those rooms are the Red Bud Room and Fireside Room.

We also have six acres, a big yard, walking trail, park across the street with play equipment, and lots of other things for kids besides being five minutes from the Columbus Zoo.
