A Classical Revival manor home built in 1900 by Cincinnati financier Henry Morgenthaler in the unique neighborhood of Gaslight Clifton.

This recently refurbished mansion built in 1900 offers five unique guest rooms and the cottage, each with a private bath, queen size bed, individually controlled central air conditioning, phone, TV and ceiling fan.
The large formal entry hall with sweeping staircase invites you to step back in time. The large dining room, parlor and library, decorated with antique furnishings, are comfortable and inviting for both travelers and business guests.
Relax with afternoon tea or wine on our 50-foot wrap-around porch. Wake up to the enticing aroma of a full breakfast served each morning. Baked treats are always available in the charming butler's pantry.
Walk to fine restaurants, eclectic boutiques and Cincinnati's oldest movie theater. We are minutes from the University of Cincinnati, Hebrew Union College, The Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and major area hospitals.
The Clifton House offers a "home away from home" for both travelers and business guests. We are one block from the Ludlow Business District and guests can walk to many restaurants and shops.

Enjoy our large collection of books in the library and learn about Cincinnati's rich history, play our restored vintage player piano, relax on the large wrap-around porch with an evening glass of wine.
A full gourmet breakfast is served each morning in the formal dining room. Guests staying in the Clifton Cottage simply ring the kitchen and coffee is on the way! Breakfast can be served in the cottage if you prefer. We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs. Coffee and tea are served in the upstairs hallway each morning.
Bird Watchers will be delighted with the variety of bird species around our house! Hikers will be happy to know they can explore many trails in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. Bikers will find great riding through the many Cincinnati and Kentucky parks. Maps and directions available in our lobby.
Each of the uniquely decorated rooms has a charm of its own. All rooms have guest-controlled air conditioning, televisions, telephones, wireless Internet, hairdryer, writing desk, comfortable chairs, iron and ironing board. FAX machine available for guest use.
The complimentary second floor refrigerator is always stocked with soft drinks, beer and water. Snacks available on second floor and fresh baked treats in the butler's pantry. -

Wake up to sweet and savory aromas from our kitchen. Chef Stephanie Boertlein prepares a full gourmet breakfast each morning using ingredients from local farmers' markets and historic Findlay Market. Breakfast is served weekdays from 7:00 - 8:30 and 9:00 on weekends. Coffee and tea are available each morning in the upstairs hall.

The Clifton House is a wonderful, relaxing alternative where the entire party can stay together for dressing, photography and fun! We are happy to arrange a variety of services including hairdressers, make-up and massage in the house for your convenience.
The Clifton Cottage is perfect for the bride and groom, king size bed, Jacuzzi and full breakfast delivered in the morning.

- From airport only: Take I-275 East to I-75 North.
- Travel time approx. 20-25 min.
- I-75 North to Hopple St. exit (exit is on your left)
