The Villas at Gervasi Vineyard

This Tuscan-Inspired Inn and gathering place is a lively rustic retreat designed for tourists and business guests seeking to getaway or host events and celebrations. The Villas, a boutique Inn with 24 luxurious suites with fireplaces, touched with Italy and designed with open shared living spaces for relaxation, entertainment, or business meetings. Just across our spring-fed lake you can visit our beautiful grounds, Vineyard, Bistro, Marketplace and Pavilion for the ultimate Tuscan experience in Northeast Ohio.

Gervasi Vineyard & Italian Bistro offers Northeast Ohio a memorable destination for local wine lovers, diners, families, businesses, and tourists. Gervasi is one of the few special places where beauty, tradition, comfort, and appreciation for fresh food and good wine connect.

We strive to make our wine varieties among the best in Ohio. Our wines are produced by wine experts. Our Wine Tasting Bar features over nine varietals of Gervasi wines. The grapes are selected by our experienced team and all wines are bottled and cellared on premise.

Our 55 acre property includes over five acres of vineyards producing several varieties of grapes. Tours of our vineyard, crushing house, winery and cellar will be available by reservation. The most impressive aspects are the vineyard grounds and the beautiful, breathtaking gardens. We also have a 6 acre spring-fed lake, and Bocce courts which will be a great pleasure after a delicious dinner. Our grounds include the vineyards, The Bistro, Tasting Bar, The Marketplace and a variety of special spaces for private events in both formal and informal settings.
 

The Villas are located within a section of the Gervasi estate called The Village. Also located here are:

• The Villa Grande Event Facility houses a versatile conference and event facility seating up to 144 guests. It features a ballroom, event lobby, and executive board rooms.
   
• The Cucina, a Culinary and Wine Education Center housed in The Villa Grande Event Center, will offer culinary or wine experiences that can be incorporated into your special event or corporate retreat if desired.

Relaxed Rustic Dining

Gervasi's Italian Bistro seats 160 guests and includes an extensive rustic Italian menu served in small and large plate portions for sharing. Our menu includes fresh, seasonal ingredients including antipasti, salads, brick-fired artisan pizzas, entrees, and desserts. Additional outdoor dining is available on the Piazza (Patio) in the summer months.

Gervasi’s attentive and accommodating style of service will not disappoint you. Wherever you see the Gervasi quality stamp of approval, you know it is properly harvested, uniquely prepared, and simply delicious.

No reservations are taken for the Piazza, however we do offer hosted seating. The Piazza features casual dining including counter ordering and food delivery to your table. We have live music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. The Bistro & Piazza Hours of Operation:

The Villa Grande Conference & Event Facility

The Villa Grande event center is the cornerstone of the Gervasi Village complex on the south end of the spring-fed lake and projects the stately and welcoming feel of a grand Tuscan home. With its striking lobby and rear veranda, The Villa Grande is a spectacular setting for celebrations and corporate events.

The Outdoor Pavilion

The Pavilion offers one of the most beautiful outdoor special event and wedding settings in Northeast Ohio.

The outdoor event Pavilion is a beautiful Italian-inspired open air structure of stone and stucco nestled next to the vineyard and lake with a spectacular view in every direction.

The Pavilion is the ideal location for wedding receptions and ceremonies. The facility can be utilized in a variety of configurations and accommodates a maximum of 220 guests (ideal for events of 180-200 depending on set up requirements).

Smaller weddings can configure the space in a variety of ways to create a more intimate environment, for example a King’s Table in the center of the space or combine ceremony and reception in the same space. See example of Pavilion layouts below.

Consists of two sides, one side (50’ x 36’) with 20’ high cathedral ceiling and adjoining side (40’ x 50’) with 13’ high ceilings

There are few places able to provide the perfect outdoor or indoor wedding - and Gervasi is one of them!

Our outdoor Pavilion with bridal quarters and kitchen seats up to 200 people and overlooks the spring-fed lake.

The Villa Grande ballroom offers beautiful indoor wedding setting. The Villa Grande or Cantino Cellar Room are also perfect for rehearsal dinners.

Our staff will arrange for wedding planning arrangements to assure that you have a worry-free and relaxing time. We want your wedding day to be perfect. We have carefully arranged for the best resources to take care of all the details.

Housed in our elegant, Tuscan-inspired inn and event space, the Cucina at Gervasi Vineyard offers fun, inspiring, educational experiences filled with delicious food and memorable wines. The Cucina hosts cooking classes taught by top-notch instructors in our beautiful and spacious professional working kitchen. Culinary Classes

The delicate crunch of a buttery pastry, the tang of a juicy ripe tomato, the smooth richness of a warm bittersweet chocolate sauce, the savory chewiness of a grilled steak . . . The Cucina is about sharing the pleasures great food. Whether you want to bake a fragrant loaf of bread or learn how to season a sauce so it’s just right, you can learn how at the Cucina. You can sample the cuisines of Mexico or Japan or South America, or experience the food of Italy with a chef from Rome—all in our brand new, professional working kitchen.

Most of our classes are hands-on. You’ll dive in and get cooking with personalized instruction from one of our experienced chef instructors, and create a meal that you’ll sit down to enjoy with a glass of wine. Some classes will be demonstration classes, where you’ll observe a master chef at work with lots of clear explanation, generous samples of every dish, and some pretty good stories, too.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I register for a class?     Just click on a class title below, or go to our Class Schedule and Registration page, select the class you’re interested in, and follow the instructions.

What do I wear? Do I need to bring anything?      If you’re taking a hands-on class, dress to cook: casual and comfortable, with some low heeled, closed-toe shoes. We’ll supply the aprons and all the equipment you’ll need. In all classes, each student will receive a recipe packet with copies of all the recipes used in the class. You may want to bring a pen for taking notes.

What is your cancellation policy?      All class registrations are non-refundable, just like a cultural or sports event. If you’re unable to attend a class you’ve registered for, you’re welcome to send someone in your place. If the Cucina has to cancel a class, you’ll receive a full refund of your fee.

Can my son/daughter take a class with me?     We welcome children 15 and older, as long as each is accompanied by an adult.
