The Iris RoomThe Inn was built by Colonel Joseph D. Taylor, who fought in the Civil War and served four terms in the U.S. Congress. Finished in 1878, the Inn features 21 rooms with 11 gas log fireplaces, 6 baths and 3 porches. The Grand foyer welcomes guests in regal style with its carved staircase and oak paneling, which accent the 11-foot ceilings, pocket doors, stained glass windows, and hardwood floors. The beautifully furnished Inn will enhance your visit to a more relaxed, elegant time.

We have two rooms with a queen four poster bed and two rooms with king beds. We also have a queen bed in the adjoining room to the Iris room when they rent it as a suite.

A full scrumptious gourmet breakfast is served between 8:30 and 10:00 A.M. Tea and coffee are available all day. A warm welcoming snack awaits your arrival in the afternoon.
