  • Introduction

The Harkins House Bed & Breakfast Inn - Caldwell, OhioCome spend an enchanted evening in this restored Princess Anne Colonial inn. The Harkins House Inn is located in beautiful Southeastern Ohio, on Interstate 77, exit #25 between Marietta and Cambridge.

When passing through the beautiful countryside of Southeastern Ohio take a moment to relax with us in the comfort of our restored 1905 home. Our home was built by V.E. Harkins, an upstanding citizen in the community and one of the founders of the First National Bank. His son, Donald, lived in the house until his death in 1974 and his wife, Bea, Stacey's grandmother until 1991.

This B&B has been lovingly restored during the 1990s. The home has been painstakingly brought back to life (with the help of the original floor plans found hidden in a closet) to exceed the ambiance, and the eternal beauty of the early 1900s.

The foyer greets you with a wonderful view of the grand oak staircase, seen through leaded glass doors.

The Harkins House Inn has loads of white oak woodwork; including columns in the parlor, a tiger oak fireplace in the master suite, complete with electric logs. Or, enjoy the library with all its books and while the time away in front of a real wood fire.

You'll enjoy your stay in one of our beautiful guest rooms, each with a private bath and air conditioning. Enjoy a cup of gourmet coffee in front of the fireplace on a winter's evening. In the summer sit out back on the patio or take advantage of the old-fashioned front porch.

Then savor the next morning's breakfast (of your choice) in the formal dining room. Arousing you from your sleep is the smell of fresh coffee and bacon, and the sun glistening through the elegant twin stained glass windows, while you enjoy your homemade meal. Even though we offer a unique get-away from the hustle and bustle of life ... stay connected, if you wish, with free wireless internet access.
