Red Maple Inn will be offering Amish Style dinners every 1st and 3rd Friday of each month at 7 pm (Advanced Reservations Required) Jo Ann Kauffman is a local Mennonite resident, along with her family she will prepare this feast for you to enjoy. The menu which is typically served at an Amish Wedding includes a salad (Jo Ann's choice from Cole Slaw, Fresh Romaine with ripened strawberries, or tossed greens), Breaded Chicken, Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes with gravy, Stuffing, Seasonal vegetables, fresh baked rolls, dessert (JoAnn's choice Pies, Cracker Pudding, Date & Nut Pudding, Apple Dumplings or Layer Cake), Coffee and Iced Tea Guests of the Inn - Two dinners for $40 and Public Guests $24 per person plus tax and gratuity During your dessert enjoy a discussion from Sharon Grover - Our local Amish Expert she will share information about the Amish Culture, their ways, beliefs and lifestyle. This will be a great opportunity to ask all of those questions you may have about our local Amish friends.
