Nestled in a grove of century-old oak trees surround by central Ohio country beauty, Bucyrus is an unhurried, unspoiled, unforgettable historic Ohio gem. Completely renovated over a many year period, our 1939 mansion is beginning its fifteenth year as HideAway Country Inn. In our fifteen years, we have hosted well over four hundred and twenty five weddings — ranging in size from two to four hundred guests. Each wedding here is special and we tailor our services to your tastes and interests. The Inn is built so it beckons guests to spend time outside in the ever-expanding gardens. There are six acres of landscaped grounds. Facilities are available in case of inclement weather. Eight Luxury Suites featuring a fireplace and whirlpool for two, and lofts with skylights. Each of our twelve rooms is unique and filled with treasures from over twenty years of collecting. Decorated in a casual but elegant school of design, the home is inviting and comfortable. Since your wedding will be a time of family sharing and reunions with friends, we suggest at least a two-day event. This will provide time for laughter, relaxation, conversation, and meditation. Our extensive gardens and private grounds are especially conducive to these goals. Our package includes rehearsal dinner, reception and day-after wedding brunch. We welcome your selection of any or all of the events, and we look forward to helping you create the wedding of a lifetime.

Wedding Reservations
We require a deposit of $1,000 to confirm a reservation, with the balance (including Ohio 7% room tax) progressively paid by contract schedule. Couples sometimes ask us to bill their guests directly for lodging. Exquisite dining and catering has been our trademark! Please contact us for your private appointment in helping you to design your own personal wedding and reception. A specialty is the private rehearsal dinners, with a menu ranging from a country picnic to an elegant candle light dining.
