Berlin is a tourist town.
What are you best known for?
Our cabin is right on the water.
What makes your inn unique?
The fishing is unique.
What do you love most about your inn?
I love the quietness and the fountain on the water making it very relaxing to sit out and listen to the sound. Very cozy rooms.
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?
The Amish in the area, little shops to visit, and the peaceful countryside.
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?
We have a guest book that our guests sign and there are lots of wonderful compliments. Maybe one would be 'It is a piece of Heaven". Guests say they have gotten closer to God with the quietness.

We stayed 1 night in The Hide-Away. It's located in the downstairs of the owners home with a private entrance. The room is approx 3 times the size of your general hotel room. Complete with fully equipped kitchen, dining table, couch (no cable, but tv games and movies) and king size bed. The bed has the best linens I have ever felt. Decorations are very homey and several baskets and bins with magazines to read. There is no fireplace or hot tub like the cabins, however, for the price, this place is a much better alternative to a standard hotel room. Bathroom is tiny but adorable. Stand up shower, no bathtub. Location is wonderful as well. Not far from the main street in Berlin. When we awoke, we could hear the amish buggies clopping up the road. Hoping to go back in the winter and enjoy the winter scenery. KBurgy_12 - Belpre, Ohio
I rented this cabin on the lake in the heart of Berlin for a surprise trip for my husband's 40th birthday. We liked it so much that we now have a goal of having a similiar place to retreat to! As well, we have already contacted the owners to make a reservation for another visit with our children. We stayed in the Loft. The Loft has a back porch and a front porch. The back porch overlooks the 1 acre stocked lake. The front porch is great for viewing Amish buggies and the horses run by. There is no television, but we knew this and enjoyed the peace away from the hustle and bustle. There was a Jacuzzi to relax in and homemade cookies and breakfast items for the morning. Holmes county is filled with great shopping and dining spots, and it's a great area to visit for some rest and relaxtion...the point of our trip! yarnellc - South Vienna, OH
This is a wonderful place to spend some alone time with your husband/wife. It's nice to get away and just relax and talk without TV. This cabin is beautiful. Very clean, and the owners are very nice. There were goodies upon our arrival with a nice welcome sign. We have been there twice, and plan to go back next month for our wedding anniversary. Very close to town so if you want to shop or eat out, you can. But it was also nice to cook out on the deck with the grill they provide. phershey - Findlay
My husband and I were staying at another lodge across the street from this beautiful cabin five years ago as the owners were completing construction. They allowed us to tour the 2 units and we fell in love with the location, atmosphere, general decor of the cabin itself. We finally had the opportunity to visit and reserved the top 2 floors which go by the name of the "Loft". The cabin sits on a private lake and has a deck that sits out over the edge of the lake and a front porch for viewing Amish buggies and the horses run by. There is no television, but we never noticed with the tranquility that surrounded us. There was a Jacuzzi to relax in and homemade cookies and breakfast items for the morning. Holmes county is filled with great shopping and dining spots, so the cabin was a welcome place to come home and relax in the evening or drink a cup of coffee on the deck in the morning as the dew rose off the lake. camprpines - Ohio
