Some voices of experience
Dreamy! It felt so surreal to sit on the porch and just absorb the peace and beauty of the surroundings. This was our pre-honeymoon escape and we enjoyed every moment. Thanks for everything! Best Regards Jacqui & Matt.
What can we say Utter bliss! So peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed this little getaway. We will definitely be back. How do you get the towels so soft? Jim & Linda
Country breakfasts in bed, couples' massages, hand-dipped chocolates, floral or balloon bouquets, and summer carriage or winter sleigh rides are just some of the specialized experiences available to Donna's guests. Nearby shopping in the well-known, quaint shops of Berlin, antique shops filled with treasures, our famous cheese houses and wineries, charming villages to explore, the timelessness of Amish homesteads and a simpler way of life, and unique local celebrations and nostalgic Christmas traditions are all here, making Donna's a year round destination for romantic get-a-ways, honeymoons, anniversaries, or "just-because".

Travelers are always looking for memorable and relaxing experiences. Let’s discover more through the words of our innkeepers. Many thanks to Donna Marie Schlabach for sharing her own secrets with BBOnline.com! Why do most travelers stay at your inn?
We are a couple's mini-resort and most of our guests stay at our accommodations for a romantic get-a-way.
What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?
We are best known for romance and we specialize in get-a-ways for couples. All of our accommodations were designed with romance in mind and all feature an in-room 2 person Jacuzzi tub as well as a gas log fireplace. To make things extra special, couples can add one of our many add-on package: ranging from in-room massages and private carriage rides to chocolate covered strawberries and champagne.
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?
Our city is most known for being the largest Amish settlement.
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?
We were voted "Most Romantic Hide-Away" by Arrington Publishing.
What’s the best kept secret about the area?

If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?
There is A LOT to do in the area. Lots of home decor stores, antique malls, furniture shops. There are cheese factories, wineries and museums to tour through. In the summer months, people can go horseback riding, go for a buggy ride or attend one of the weekend festivals. Holmes County is also very well known for their delectable Amish style restaurants!
