Welcome to our Home. Drive down a tree lined lane to Sunset Shores Bed and Breakfast, a century-old house on the shores of Lake Erie.
The Avon Lake community traces its history back to the very early 1800's when the area started as a farming community, progressed to grape growing vineyards, became a lakeshore summer cottage resort and now thrives as a current blend of history, parks and progress.
"Beautiful" and "relaxing" describe the surroundings of Sunset Shores, with the coziness of a private home and a residential neighborhood. Our Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located. We are only 30 minutes to downtown Cleveland, the Cleveland Hopkins airport and an easy 45 minute drive to Cedar Point.

We offer two comfortable second floor guest rooms with private baths, and a third floor guest suite with private bath. All of our bedrooms overlook the ever changing waters of Lake Erie. We now offer the Captain's suite as an added option to enjoy your lakefront stay. This room is also located on the second floor. Enjoy the beautiful sounds and sights of magnificent Lake Erie with the breeze, splashing waves, music of lake gulls, passing sailboats and ore boats, gorgeous sunsets, and star-filled nights.
