The Monroe Room, on the second floor, features lovely oak furnishings with hand-carved and inlaid details, a double bed and private bath with a shower. This romantic room has the nicest view of the mountains. It costs $139 for double occupancy. The cost for single occupancy is $129. Ask about corporate rates for midweek single-occupancy stay. The Ayers Room (King or Twin)
The Ayers Room is located in the main house on the second floor, and is the largest room at Inn on Main Street. The roominess of the sleeping area and of the bathroom make it an ideal choice for longtime stays. Guests may choose either a king or twin-bed configurations. Furnishings include an antique dresser, love seat and maple desk. The room includes a gas fireplace, widescreen cable TV with DVD, wireless internet, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Like the rest of the main house, the Ayers room is served by central air conditioning.
The Ayers Room features a huge private bath with tub and shower, and ample space to unpack and relax. The bathroom is our largest, and includes a roomy soaking tub. This room is $179. Price includes full breakfast and evening refreshments.

The Lee Room (King or Twin)
The Lee Room is located in the main house on the first floor, just two steps from the front door. The location makes it a good choice for guests who cannot climb stairs, for those who may come and go at odd hours or for those who want to have the convenience of the parlor across the hallway. Lee Room guests may choose either a king or twin-bed configurations. Furnishings include a love seat and antique desk. The decor reflects the room's namesake, Confederate General Robert E. Lee, who appears in pictures on the wall. The room includes a gas fireplace, widescreen cable TV with DVD, wireless internet, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Like the rest of the main house, the Lee room is served by central air conditioning. Because it is located downstairs, it tends to be cooler than much of the house.
The Lee Room features a private bath with triangular whirlpool tub and shower, and features some of Dan's handmade rose tiles. This room is $179, double occupancy. Price includes full breakfast and evening refreshments.

The Robinson Room (Queen)
The Robinson Room, next to the back porch, has an airy, tropical feel. The room is decorated in whites and light blue, with wicker settee and desk playing off the room's origins as a screened porch . A focal point of the room is a majolica ceramic tile mural of a blue heron installed in a faux chimney for the freestanding gas fireplace. Dan created the mural based on an Audubon print. The Robinson bath has an antique enamel tub and vanity created from an antique medical instruments cabinet. This room is $159, double occupancy. Single occupancy price is $149. Price includes full breakfast.

The Kiser Room (Queen)
The Kiser Room, located in the octagonal bay above the parlor in the main house, features a huge queen bed with filigree headboard and other mahogany furnishings. This romantic room is popular with honeymooners and those celebrating anniversaries.
The Kiser Room is decorated in warm burgundy and sage. Most windows look out into the boughs of a maple tree, giving guests the feeling of being in a tree house. Room features include an empire desk/dressing table with bench seat, and a pair of Napoleonic armchairs upholstered in red velvet. As with all rooms in the main house, the Kiser has central AC and heat, wireless internet, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. It has a widescreen TV with DVD player. The attached bathroom has a roomy shower, but no tub. This room is $159. Single occupancy costs $149. Price includes full breakfast and evening refreshments.

The Forest Room (Cottage)
The Forest Room, like the Garden, has a high-backed queen wooden bed and a bathroom that includes a whirlpool tub for two. This room also features a gas fireplace, window air conditioning, and cable TV with DVD. Dan's tile works include a sculpted fireplace surround depicting a stern guardian angel, an elven woodsman in the tub enclosure and a series of "fossil" tiles, created with impressions of real leaves, making up the backsplash around the sink. Decor in the Forest room is a bit darker and more masculine than the Garden Room, with rich burgundy and tans predominating. This room is $179, double occupancy. Price includes full breakfast.

The Garden Room (cottage)
The Garden Room, like the Forest, has a high-backed queen wooden bed and a bathroom that includes a whirlpool tub for two. This room also features a gas fireplace, window air conditioning, and cable TV with DVD. Decor features light sage, plaid and florals, picked up in handmade Roman shades as well as the bedding. Custom touches include Dan's watercolors, his molded fish tiles in the bathroom and a majolica ceramic fireplace surround depicting a garden flowers and a koi pond. This room is $179, double occupancy. Price includes full breakfast.

Terms
- Two-night minimum stay required for weekends, most October weekdays and some holiday periods. Exceptions do occur, especially at the last minute, so please call about shorter stays.
- Three-night minimum required on October weekends and some holiday weekends. Exceptions often occur, so call or check availability online.
- Deposit equal to half the total bill required, refundable (minus a $25 processing fee) with 14 days' notice of cancellation.
- Visa, Mastercard, Discover, cash and checks accepted.
- Room rate does not include 11 percent sales and room tax.
- Smoking is permitted on outside porches only.

- Sorry, but the inn is not suitable for children younger than 12.
