Prospect Hill is a restored Victorian Country Home in Waynesville, a short drive from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and from Biltmore Estate.
The house is located on 1 1/2 acres of lawn and mature trees, at the edge of town on Main Street. It occupies the high land in town, and enjoys excellent views of the mountains on all sides. Waynesville is ideally located at the eastern edge of the Smoky Mountains.

Waynesville ~ The Great Smoky Mountains & Western North Carolina surround the Prospect Hill Bed & Breakfast Inn - A Victorian Bed & Breakfast. The property was acquired by the present owners in 1993, and has been completely restored.
Private bathrooms, air conditioning, telephones and cable television have been added to all of the bedrooms.
Our Guest Accommodations
All on the second floor, offer a variety of accommodations with King and Queen beds, some have separate sitting areas, refrigerator or ceiling fans, one has a double Jacuzzi suite. . Top of the line mattresses and down comforters in Winter assure a good night's sleep, one of the rooms even has a Dream Catcher. High speed wireless broadband internet access is available in the main house.

The massive front porch is a happy jumble of wicker, rockers, chaises, plant pots, puppies and reading materials; and the hanging Fuchsia baskets are attended by the Hummingbirds.
Inside, our personal collection of antique furnishings, oriental rugs and original artwork combine easily with the character of the old house to create again the ambience of a fine county home at the end of the Victorian era.

Mornings at Prospect Hill... begin with your choice of beverage when you awake. Breakfast is set in a cherry paneled dining room; an elegant table with fine china, crystalware and sterling silver; gourmet cuisine with Soufflés, Crêpes, or Belgian Waffles served vegetarian style or with Ham or Canadian Bacon and fresh fruit, homemade coffee cakes, fruit juices and gourmet coffee. -

Coming by plane?- Fly into Asheville airport and drive from the airport to Waynesville. Exit the airport drive and turn left at the light and stay in the left lane, after only a quarter mile, take I-26W in direction of Asheville. After approximately 7 miles, take the exit for I-40W in direction of Knoxville (its from the left lane of I-26). Follow I-40W about 20 miles to exit 27 direction of Waynesville on Hwy 23S & 74W (also called the "Smoky Mountain Expressway"). Follow 23S for 5 miles and take exit 102 for Waynesville. Turn right from the exit ramp and follow 276S to Main Street in the old town center. Prospect Hill is on Main Street about a quarter mile south of town center, at the top of the hill.
Coming by Car from the East - via Asheville? - Follow I-40W about 20 miles past Asheville to exit 27 direction of Waynesville on Hwy 23S & 74W (also called the "Smoky Mountain Expressway"). Follow 23S for 5 miles and take exit 102 for Waynesville. Turn right from the exit ramp and follow 276S to Main Street in the old town center. Prospect Hill is on Main Street about a quarter mile south of town center, at the top of the hill.
Coming by car from the west - via Knoxville? - Follow I-40E from Knoxville about 90 miles to exit 27 direction of Waynesville on Hwy 23S & 74W (also called the "Smoky Mountain Expressway"). Follow 23S for 5 miles and take exit 102 for Waynesville. Turn right from the exit ramp and follow 276S to Main Street in the old town center. Prospect Hill is on Main Street about a quarter mile south of town center, at the top of the hill.
Coming from Florida or the coastal South? - Follow I-95N to the intersection with I-26 close to Charleston, SC, take I-26West in direction of Columbia SC. Continue past Columbia and Spartanburg SC to Asheville. Before you reach Asheville take the exit for I-40West in direction of Knoxville (its from the left lane of I-26). Follow I-40W about 20 miles to exit 27 direction of Waynesville on Hwy 23S & 74W (also called the "Smoky Mountain Expressway"). Follow 23S for 5 miles and take exit 102 for Waynesville. Turn right from the exit ramp and follow 276S to Main Street in the old town center. Prospect Hill is on Main Street about a quarter mile south of town center, at the top of the hill.
Coming from the Atlanta area? - Waynesville is best reached from Atlanta by following I-85 North, it becomes I-985 somewhere around Gainesville and then becomes Rte 23 and 74 North, also known as the Smoky Mountain Expressway. Follow this highway to exit #102A which is marked for Waynesville. Turn right from the exit ramp and follow 276S to Main Street in the old town center. Prospect Hill is on Main Street about a quarter mile south of town center, at the top of the hill.
