Magnolia Manor Plantation offers many locations for your wedding, depending on your wedding dream. Following the wedding ceremony, the Carriage House Pavilion awaits the arrival of the bridal party so the celebration can begin! The decor is described as "Rustic Elegance" and is truly unique to the North Carolina piedmont area. The reception buffet showcases the unsurpassed culinary expertise of our caterer. Magnolia Manor Plantation offers even the most discerning bride a wedding in the most idyllic setting imaginable in a home-like atmosphere with our focus on privacy. Attention to every detail makes this North Carolina treasure the perfect location for romantic getaways, corporate events and Southern style fairytale weddings and receptions.

• Magnolia Manor Plantation Bed and Breakfast is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is permitted on the porches. There is a $1000 cleaning fee for smoking anywhere in the building.
• Normal check-in time is after 3 PM and check out time is before 11 AM. Special arrangements can be accommodated with prior notice.
• Magnolia Manor recommends Taste of Eden; our in-house caterer. Guests may utilize alternate caterers provided the alternate caterer works from a commercial kitchen permitted by their local Health Department. Magnolia Manor reserves the right to refuse any alternate caterer in order to ensure a quality experience.
• Magnolia Manor Plantation Bed and Breakfast will be glad to provide candles for use in your room upon request. Due to fire insurance regulations candles must meet certain specifications.
• Individual suite reservation can be cancelled, without charge, 2 weeks prior to the date of arrival. If your plans change after the two week period above, we will gladly provide gift certificates for another date, subject to availability.
• Fees and payments for weddings are due in accordance with the terms of our Agreement. All fees and payments are non-refundable for any reason once paid because Magnolia Manor Plantation Bed and Breakfast makes non-refundable deposits and payments to its service providers in support of your event.
• Magnolia Manor Plantation Bed and Breakfast strongly suggests you purchase event insurance for weddings that will cover your financial interests including cancellation. The policy offered through the website address provided below is reasonably priced and one of only a few that offers coverage for cancellation due to "change of heart" and other exposures as well as alcohol liability. The policy is covered by Fireman's Fund Insurance Company and is endorsed by National Alliance of Special Event Planners, Inc. Magnolia Manor is located on 13 private acres of rural farm land, this magnificent 6,000 square foot historic antebellum manor house has all of the warmth, beauty and elegance befitting one of North Carolina's most luxurious plantation homes.

Magnolia Manor Plantation, located just 60 minutes from Raleigh, NC and 25 minutes from Lake Gaston, provides guests privacy and the opportunity to create memories that will last a lifetime. Guests approach the manor house along a circular driveway that leads them up to the grand entrance of this stately, amazingly beautiful home. The views from outside the manor house are spectacular. The manor house sits on a picturesque knoll overlooking emerald green pastures surrounded with towering trees with no other dwelling in sight.

Sheila will be your Wedding Planner and will coordinate your special preferences to make your wedding unique and special for you. No two brides are alike nor are their weddings. The Weekend Wedding Package includes overnight accommodations for 10 guests on Friday and Saturday nights and a generous full breakfast for all overnight guests. Magnolia Manor Plantation can, however, accommodate up to 23 guests with special arrangements and there are ample lodging facilities within 25 minutes of Magnolia Manor Plantation.

The rehearsal generally takes place on Friday evening followed by a casual Southern Barbeque Dinner for 25 guests catered by Magnolia Manor Plantation in the Carriage House Pavilion.

Saturday is for set up and decoration of the wedding site that was selected by the bride and the Carriage House Pavilion. Brides have chosen numerous wedding sites on the grounds. Many have chosen the antique white oak that is an estimated 500 years old but the pecan orchard is becoming increasingly popular because of its tremendous arched canopy. Other sites are the front porch, the potting shed or the 1815 dining room for smaller affairs. Magnolia Manor Plantation can also suggest a wedding officiate or other service providers if you desire.

Following the ceremony, the wedding party moves to the Carriage House Pavilion for the reception. Our caterer sets up an incredible buffet. Sheila works with the bride to finalize the menu. There are numerous choices to customize the menu to your preferences. During the reception dinner, our professional DJ plays from a song list approved by the bride and handles all of the traditional wedding activities after the dinner. When the dinner and planned events are over, its PARTY TIME and the DJ will not let you down.
