Welcome to Valle Crucis B & B!

Valle Crucis Bed & Breakfast offers three guest rooms and two large suites each with custom queen size log beds and pillow top mattresses. Each room features a private bathroom, mini-refrigerator stocked with bottled water, and robes. A Full Country Breakfast is included with your stay.

Curl up in front of the fireplace with a blanket, while reading your favorite book or borrow one from our collection. The fabulous view from the main room will help you escape. Upstairs, take advantage of the entertainment loft, where you can watch TV or a favorite movie. Some guests just like to relax by reading in our comfortable leather couch or recliner.

Banner Elk is located approximately twelve miles southwest of Boone in western North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains. Avery County is home to famous mountain peaks like Grandfather, Beech and Sugar. It has the highest county seat in Eastern America, the highest incorporated town in Eastern America, and is known as the "Christmas tree capital of the world."

With four major ski resorts in the immediate area, our area has evolved into the premiere southern destination for winter sports. Downtown Banner Elk is located directly in between Sugar and Beech Mountains, while Hawksnest is just down and up the hill in Seven Devils, and Appalachian  can be found between the other mountain towns of Boone and Blowing Rock in neighboring Watauga County.

Driving in from the East and South

• Turn off of NC Hwy 105 (between Boone and Linville).
• Look for the signs for Valle Crucis and turn onto Broadstone Rd.
• The Valle Crucis B&B is on your left approximately 2 miles.

Driving in from the West and North

• Coming in from 421/321 west of Boone, take Hwy. 194 to Valle Crucis.
• In Valle Crucis, continue straight on Broadstone Rd.,
  instead of turning right to stay on 194 toward Banner Elk.
• The Valle Crucis B&B is on the right 1 mile.
