The rooms are named for the type of wood that each bed is made out of. The Pine Room: This cozy room with rustic decor has a queen-size Pine bed, a private entrance, and a shower. The view is of the wooded area and side yard. You will have access to the wrap around porch from this room and are welcome to enjoy the view from anywhere on the porch. $119.00 + Taxes
The Walnut Room: This room has a queen-size 4 post Walnut bed made by innkeeper Jeff Swartz, an antique clawfoot tub with a shower attachment, a view of the lake and a private entrance. $129.00 + Taxes

The Autumn Inn is located on a secluded cove on Lake Hickory in Taylorsville, North Carolina. Built in 2009, we offer a new place for old fashioned hospitality. The home features craftsman style architecture with a touch of Southern charm.
Located just outside of Hickory, NC, plenty of activities are available to you. Whether it's golfing, fishing, waterskiing, shopping for furniture or antiques, you will find that there are many things to do in the area.
We invite you to sit on our porch and enjoy all the beauty of the seasons around you. In the winter you can enjoy a cup of our gourmet hot chocolate while relaxing beside a crackling outdoor fire. You may even see a light dusting of snow. The spring and summer offer the sounds of nature with frogs in the pond, ducks on the lake and a nightly visit from the neighborhood whippoorwill. Construction on the first floor was completed in 2010 and is now ready for guests. With a mixture of different styles, the inn is very unique. Although the majority of the design of the inn is craftsman style, you will also see influences of rustic and southern styles. You will find antiques throughout the house, giving you that down home feel.
