Location in the Downtown Historic District and size, it is a small Inn.
What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?
Clean, quiet, and has all the amenities that one could expect, plus some more.
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?
Just to see New Bern. It may be to visit or to look at a possible retirement location.
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?
You all have just thought of everything.
What’s the best kept secret about the area?
The historic homes have a history of being very “mobile”. They have been moved or turned or pivoted or sawed in half.
If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?
Visit the Tryon Palace and also take a ferry ride to Cape Lookout and watch the wild horses swim and enjoy the day on a secluded and isolated island in the sea.
Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?
Everything downtown. Most guests park their car upon arrival and leave it till departure.
What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?
Seafood at Captain Ratty’s or dinner at the Chelsea or Morgans.

No, we do not accept pets, and there are numerous pet kennels to choose from.
