    The Alpine Inn is located in Little Switzerland, North Carolina. This established country inn has served the Blue Ridge Parkway continually for over 75 years. The most fantastic panoramic views can be enjoyed at Alpine Inn.

    "Clinging enchantingly to the side of Grassy Mountain", as described by Signature Magazine, guests at the Inn are assured of one of the most magnificent mountain views to be found.

    Whether you enjoy biking, hiking, reading or relaxing, you can find it here. We have been blessed by Mother Nature and the many natural attractions she has given us. We hope you will come and see a few for yourself.

    People saying that they feel right at home at our inn. Then they tell everybody about us.

    It is still a secret!!!

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    You will visit Mt. Mitchell, Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain, Gem Mining at several places, NC mining museum, Museum of NC Minerals, Crabtree Falls, hiking galore.

    Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    1 mile walk will get you to the bookstore/Coffee shop. Café and General Store, Post Office, 1.5 mi to Grassy Creek Falls.

    What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

    Within 5 miles there are several restaurants with varying dishes, from local deli food, to restaurant/Pub fare to barbeque.

    We have 12 rooms and a 3 room Mountain Suites.

    Do you accept pets?

    No pets accepted; other establishments have designated rooms for pets.

    The Alpine Inn breakfasts are enjoyed with a great view of Little Switzerland's spectacular sunrise.

    Breakfast is optional for our guests and is served on the main balcony.
