      Large and mid-sized weddings with 40 to 150 guests are hosted at the Mountain Magnolia in-season from April through October on weekends and weekdays.

      Lodging: On weekends we have a two night lodging minimum and breakfast is included daily for guests of the inn. We have a wide range of accommodations ranging from individual rooms to suites and a 3 bedroom cottage.

      Coordinating Services: The Mountain Magnolia Inn Wedding Coordinator will assist in planning the details of your wedding at the Inn including: lodging advice for guests; schedule for the weekend; menu and beverage planning; vendor selection; set-up for your wedding day etc. The wedding coordinator will be on location the days of your event to help with the details and management of the event.

      Ceremonies are most often held under the 150 year old walnut tree which provides a beautiful, shady setting for the wedding party and guests. Following the ceremony there typically is a social hour to provide time for photos while your guests enjoy a beverage and hors d'ouevres.

      Receptions are tented events with food service either buffet style or served plated with catering and beverages by Executive Chef Chris Brown and his team. Service is provided by our head server and experienced team. Music and dancing after the meal is on the terrace with its artful tenting cover or in the main tent if you prefer. We welcome your choice of entertainment.

      Availability and Cost: We have a number of dates available for large weddings in 2012. Our facility fee is based on the number of guests and ranges from $1250 to $2750 on the weekends. The food and beverage minimum for a weekend event is $4000 plus tax and gratuity. We do offer reduced pricing options for mid-week weddings.

      If you are looking for a North Carolina mountain elopement with the feel of a relaxing vacation, then you have found the right spot! The Mountain Magnolia Inn is a wedding venue outside Asheville which offers custom Elopement Packages to make your getaway and wedding celebration personalized, simple, and beautiful. Elopements are available weekends and weekdays and are limited to couples only.

      Room of Your Choice: 2 nights on weekends and one or more nights mid-week. Rates vary. Visit our room availability page to see available rooms and individual rates.

      A Romantic 5-Course Dinner for Two including taxes and gratuity. The Mountain Magnolia Inn Restaurant is open Friday through Monday night and offers Private Dinners for two or more people nightly. We offer delicious soups, salads, appetizers, and entrees, along with house made desserts and ice cream and carefully selected wines, beers, and sparkling beverages.

      Officiant Services: One of the owners of the Mountain Magnolia Inn, Karen Nagle, is an ordained, non-denominational minister and will perform your ceremony. Karen works with each couple to create a custom celebration that is personal and fits your needs. She will also provide the needed witnesses for the celebration.

      Coordinating Services: The Mountain Magnolia Inn Wedding Coordinator will assist in getting your reservation completed and any details planned.

      Cost: Add $600 to the room of your choice for the above services.

      Deposit: You can reserve the room of your choice and elopement package on our website or by calling the office at 1-800-914-9306. There will be a $150 non-refundable deposit that will go towards the reservation for planning and elopement services.

A spa bag with towels and bottled water will be available for you.  Complete your day with a delicious, relaxing dinner on the porch or in the dining room of the Inn.

      Spend 2 or more nights at the Mountain Magnolia Inn in the room of your choice. Enjoy a full gourmet country breakfast each morning. Tour the world famous Biltmore Estate mansion, the winery and the gardens.  The pass is for 2 consecutive days.  Return to the Inn to the culinary delights prepared by Chef Chris on the porch overlooking the mountains or in front of the fire in the colder months.

  • Hiking Package

    Available dates:

      Many of our guests, of all ages, do some sort of hike during the visit to Hot Springs. If you are interested in a day hike (click here for a few favorites) we can give you a selection of several ranging from a little over an hour to most of the day. We can help by providing descriptions of each hike, loan you a day pack if necessary and time permitting even give you a shuttle if you choose a hike not originating at the Inn.

      We also have many Section Hikers who stay at the Inn. Some will start here and hike for several days and then return for a couple more days.Some end there stay here. We do everything we can to accommodate hikers including providing parking for vehicles, luggage storage, some local shuttles and of course the folks at Bluff Mountain Outfitters provide provisions, shuttles, advice and more.

      Join me on a Sunday or Monday for 1 or 2 nights through February in the Deluxe Room of your choice at the listed price and I'll give you a 30% credit towards dinner at the Inn. Join me on Friday or Saturday in a Deluxe room and I'll give you a 10% credit towards dining. You can select from my current menu a la carte or let me prepare a 5-course Chef's Table just for you. (Not valid on holidays.)

      The Chef's Table is the ultimate in dining and romance. This special dining package is a 5-course meal, created by Executive Chef, Christopher Brown, expressly for your tastes and served in front of a glowing fireplace in winter or in one of several outdoor dining locations in warmer weather.

      The Chef’s Table is available for $120 per couple. (If you have chosen a package that includes dinner, deduct the $60 dinner credit and substitute this cost) We’ll pair with a selection of 3 wines for $20 per person.

      We host very small weddings of 10 or less people year around at the Mountain Magnolia Inn during the week and off-season weekends. The wedding ceremony can take place beneath the large black walnut tree and other beautiful locations on the Inns grounds or in one of the Inn's beautifully appointed parlors during the cooler months. Your private reception dinner can be hosted on our outside terrace or indoor dining parlor. You and your guests will enjoy exceptional service at the Mountain Magnolia Inn for a very intimate celebration and getaway.

      The Inn has the following to offer our very small wedding parties:

      Lodging: The Mountain Magnolia Inn offers 6 beautiful guest rooms in the Historic home, as well as a 3-bedroom/2 bath family friendly guest cottage on the property. We do require that you and your guests use our lodging accommodations when hosting an event. There is a two night lodging minimum on the weekends and breakfast is included daily for guests in the Inn and Garden House.

      Dinner Reception: The Mountain Magnolia Inn Restaurant is open Friday through Monday night and offers Private Dinners for two or more people nightly. We offer delicious soups, salads, appetizers, and entrees, along with house made desserts and ice cream and carefully selected wines, beers, and sparkling beverages. The small wedding package includes a dedicated server and private dining locations in two beautiful indoor and outdoor locations. We can offer group appetizers and beverages for a cocktail hour after the wedding ceremony and al a carte dining for you and your guests based on the current menu. There is a $50/person minimum for dining for very small weddings.

      Coordinating and Event Services: The Mountain Magnolia Inn Wedding Coordinator will assist in getting your reservation completed and any details planned. We have white chairs, tables and linens that are available for smaller events. The wedding coordinator will be on location the day of the event to help with the details of the wedding ceremony and manage event plans.

      Cost: To be added to the cost of your room. Based on number in party and menu choices.

      • Facility Fee: $250 to $500
      • Service Fee: $100
      • Food and Beverage Minimum: $50/person
      • Tax and Gratuity additional

      The facility fee includes use of agreed upon areas of the Inn and grounds, all set-up, clean-up, and coordinating services in planning the event. The Service Fee is for a dedicated server during the reception.
