The Lavender Room
The Lavender Room, a favorite rear bedroom features nine lace-covered windows, a painted iron bed, and private bath with jetted tub and shower. A recent guest (an artist) commented that she could have spent the entire day enjoying the changes in the natural light that flows throughout the room.
The Thistle Room
The Thistle Room features a working fireplace and a private bath with tub and shower. On a chilly day, guests can relax by the fire, surrounded by touches reminiscent of an English cottage.
The Rose Room
The Rose Room offers an elevated four-poster bed, working fireplace, and private bath with shower. Guests will sleep with their head in the clouds as they fall asleep in this lofty bed.
All room rates are $125 a night, single occupancy; $150 a night, double. Corporate rates are available Sunday through Thursday. 10% discounts for stays of 5 or more nights.
The Inn offers three (3) large, second floor guest rooms. These rooms feature:
- high ceilings
- central heat/air
- ceiling fans
- queen-size beds
- period wall covering and furnishings
- sitting areas
- flat screen TVs with DVD players
- ensuite baths.

The wrap-around porch is a perfect place to enjoy an early morning cup of coffee or a home-made treat from the ever-stocked cookie jar.
In the upstairs sitting area, guests will find an extensive reference library on Durham and other areas of North Carolina, as well as menus of Durham's many eclectic and award-winning restaurants.
An extensive video library is also available for guest enjoyment.
The downstairs parlor, with its coffered ceiling, beautiful oak floors, fireplace, large flat-screen TV with DVD player, and music center is a perfect place to meet other guests or relax with family and friends.
WIFI is available for guests who want to stay connected through the internet.
Complimentary coffee/tea, sodas, juice, spring water and other snacks are available for the late night munchies.
For the comfort of all of our guests, smoking is permitted only on the porch.
