Weddings
Weddings can be performed outdoors in our garden, in the inn, or the Carriage house. The beautifully landscaped yard and garden provide a romantic and tranquil setting for your special day. We can accommodate up to 50 people and offer set-ups of tables, chairs, and linens. We provide professional options for catering and other wedding services, using only the best to insure the perfect result.

There is no residency requirement for a marriage license in North Carolina, both the Bride and Groom may live elsewhere. In addition, there is no requirement for a blood test, and there is no waiting period. Obtaining a marriage license in Durham is as easy as a trip to Durham County Courthouse to visit the Register of Deeds. You must 18 years of age or older, have a social security card, and a government issued ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or military ID. Special Events
Morehead Manor is able to host your special events. Be it a Baby Shower, Bridge Luncheon, or Book Club Gathering, we will create a memorable event for you and your guests.

Corporate Events
Whether you are brainstorming or working on your company’s budget, we offer a unique and productive environment away from the everyday distractions of your office for your business meeting or retreat. We can accommodate between 5 and 25 attendees for a conference event. Ask about our Corporate Murder Mystery event; it’s a scavenger hunt that’s a great team-building exercise and a unique alternative to your typical holiday party.
