  • Introduction

    Mi Casa Es Su Casa

Come inside, I know you want to!

You are going to love it here!  Karaman Casa's claim to fame is her “great karma”.  This isn’t a fancy home, but there is “something” going on around here that inspire friends and clients to comment often “I love your home”.  Perhaps you can help Eura find the words to describe what makes this home special.

The innkeeper, Eura Tunstall, a frequent business traveler has sought cozy B&Bs over stuffy hotels.  Eura has always had a curiosity about owning a B&B and now that she is operating her Certified Public Accounting practice out of her home, she is launching her B&B!

  • About Karaman Casa

Karaman Casa offers the following common areas:  Patio and orchard garden, billiard room, living room, sun room, kitchen and dining area.

Patio and the Garden of Eden

I have gone goo goo for gardening.  What started as an orchard grew to a Food Forest.  Now, I am slinging seeds and plants around to see what Mother Nature will do with it.  There is a great permaculture experiment going on in my backyard and I look forward to sharing it with you.  Let’s not forget the patio.  Light some lanterns, turn on some tunes and enjoy a tasty beverage and great conversation.  Eura lives most of her spare time outside and has beautiful grounds to do so.

    Billiard Room

The billiard room has a sort of cave feel.  It is a bit sunken room and dark.  I like to watch TV in there.  In the Winter, gas logs create a most cozy environment to relax.

    Living Room

The living room is a great place to Salsa dance. If you don't Salsa dance, then perhaps will enjoy catching the light during your morning coffee (that is if you are not enjoying it outside).  Gas logs will warm you during the cold Winter months.

    Sun Room

I love my sun room.  There are so many different ways to enjoy the sun room.  It becomes a little stuffy in the Summer time and nice to relax with the doors open and the breeze cooling the air around you.  If a lightning storm rolls through, don’t miss the unforgettable show!!!  In the morning with coffee, popping in and out into the yard to see what is blooming.

    Kitchen and Dining Area

I don’t use these areas much either.  I hear your gasp!  Don’t worry, you will be well fed.  I know how to shop!!!!  The good news is, chances are you will get what you desire for breakfast.

  • Location

Karaman Casa is located in the township of Mint Hill (about 2 miles from the Town Hall and center of town). Approximately 15 miles from Uptown Charlotte, Ballantyne, or Concord , Mint Hill offers various and unique attractions.  There are several restaurants and a few shops within walking distance.  Within 5 to 15 miles, almost anything you need is available.

Eura’s home is located on almost 1 acre with a 2600 square foot home with 3 rooms available (the entire home can be rented upon request).  This home has stained concrete floors that give this home a sort of Mediterranean feel.  Eura has installed an orchard garden and then discovered permaculture.

Now, Eura is working with Mother Nature to install a food forest to share with her clients.   Eura’s office in home is located in the 900 sq foot separate garage (referred to at the Fonzie Pad by her long legacy of roommates).  With Eura’s long history of roommates, Eura is quite comfortable sharing her home with others.  She welcomes you to make this your home away from home!

    O’Neils – approx .1 mile

While this is a Honky Tonk tavern, the owner serves a simple bar menu with including the famous hotdog platter (with the family’s secret chili recipe). O’Neils is best known for the Karaoke nights (Friday) and let me tell you there are some extraordinary performers that may lead you to believe Johnny Cash, Aretha Franklin or Pasty Cline are “in the house”.  If you want to explore further, google it.

    Penny’s Place – approx .3 miles

This is a Mint Hill icon and a gathering place for many.  I love this place for breakfast and some good ole Southern hospitality.  Check this article out to see more:
