The Beacon House Inn is located in Carolina Beach, North Carolina.
This 1950s transformed Boarding House was repurposed into a bed and breakfast. The charming Beacon House Inn is outfitted with modern amenities while keeping true to the vintage era style.
Within miles of the inn are North Carolina's best beaches. Enjoy the many activities Carolina Beach has to offer: golf, sailing, surfing, fishins, kayaking, and birdwatching. Or stay in and relax on our outdoor decks. Whatever you wish to do on your vacation, we are more that happy to help you make arrangments. A full artisan breakfast featuring gourtmet coffee from Carolina Coffee Company is served daily.
Our location is central to the Boardwalk and town centers, 20 minutes from the Wilmington Airport, 1 hour and a half from Myrtle Beach, and 2 and a half hours from Raleigh-Durham.
For those of you traveling with kids and pets, we also have 2 small two bedroom cottages on the lot that are pet / family friendly and have there own kitchens.

What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn? Location - right across the street from the beach. Charm and character as a 1950's boarding house that was converted into a bed and breakfast. We love the look of the original pine boards with a decor that fits the time the house was built.
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit? It's a small beach town that is quite and less crowded than other beaches in the area.
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn? "It was a culinary delight."
What’s the best kept secret about the area? The area is affordable and less crowded than other beaches in the area.
If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area? Downtown Wilmington is only 20 mins away that has great theaters, art, museums and artisan cuisine. Fort fisher, a fantastic aquarium, water sports and fishing are only a shot distance from the Inn.
Is there anything within walking distance of your inn? Yes, the boardwalk with restaurants and bars are about a 10-15 min away.

Our generous front verandahs provide a great location for idea brainstorming sessions, sales meetings and even meals while enjoying the sounds of the ocean! You can rent any combination of buildings and arrange packages to include breakfasts, private dinners, or on-site catered meals. We'll do whatever we can to make sure you have an effortless, enjoyable experience! Our Inn is meant to be comfortable and relaxing; we invite your family to come and curl up on our couch or hang out on our verandahs and do nothing but enjoy your stay!
