Orchard Room

The quiet comfort and coziness of the Orchard Room, located downstairs on the lower level of the Main House, is perfect for business travelers and budget-minded guests. The views of the orchard are eye-catching in the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. The room features a queen bed and private bath with stall shower. There is a DVD/VCR player as well. Comfy but by no means cramped (275 sq. ft.), the Orchard Room is pet friendly; the room is accessible through the house and also via an exterior entrance down a flight of stairs near the Solarium and it shares no common walls with any other guest rooms.

Reflections Room

The petite (240 sq. ft.), cozy center bedroom in the Lake House features a six-foot-wide transom window over the private sliding door to the deck that provides a fantastic view of the Inn's lake with Pisgah National Forest's Bernard Ridge as a backdrop. Other features in the Reflections room include a 14' ceiling, queen bed, a one-touch gas fireplace, HD LCD satellite TV, private bath with shower with a custom teak mat, and a two-person size Jacuzzi tub tucked away in the corner of the main room. Additionally, the room has access to a full kitchen for our guests who stay in the Lake House.

North Terrace

This spacious room (500 sq. ft., including its hot tub room) situated on the ground floor of the Main House has French doors leading to a private outdoor patio/parking area with a pleasant view of the forest on north end of the property as well as the Inn's fruit orchard. The room features a pine vaulted ceiling, queen bed, satellite TV with DVR and a DVD/VCR player, gas fireplace, private full bath with double sinks, plus a separate enclosed room with a huge step-up jetted hot tub for unwinding after the day's adventures.

Creekside Hideaway

This large (530 sq. ft.), bright and cheerful room located on the top floor of the Main House is perfect for couples, moms and daughters or single friends traveling together. It has a queen bed and pull out queen-size sleeper sofa. Additionally, there is a DVD/VCR player. Windows on three sides of the bedroom allow for great views of the woods surrounding the Inn. We encourage guests to open the windows to hear the sounds of the creek below in the mornings. The Creekside Hideaway room's gorgeous cedar bathroom with skylight provides a wonderful touch to the room and features a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower with a custom teak mat, and double sinks.

Mountain Laurel

The Mountain Laurel room (405 sq. ft. including the 75-sq.-ft. sleeping loft) is popular with couples looking for a getaway, and is also one of our two family friendly accommodations. Located on the northern end of the Lake House, the Mountain Laurel room features a queen bed plus a sleeping loft with an extra double bed. Other features include a 14' ceiling, a one-touch gas fireplace, HD-DVR satellite TV with a DVD/VCR combo, and a double-vanity bathroom with a two-person size Jacuzzi tub and separate shower with a custom teak mat. Additionally, the Mountain Laurel room has access to a full kitchen for guests staying in the Lake House, and its own sliding door to the deck that overlooks the Inn's little mountain lake with a view of the mountain laurel that blooms on Bernard Ridge in Spring and Summer.

Lake View

Frequently chosen for romantic getaways, our largest room (600 sq. feet), located on the top floor of the Main House, has full-length windows gracing the entire south wall for expansive outdoor views of the forest, our peaceful lake, and the waterfall that spills over the dam. The Lake View room features a 14' peak rough-hewn cedar ceiling, a king bed, one-touch gas fireplace and large cedar closet. The room has 32" HD satellite TV with DVR, and a DVD/VCR player (hidden away in the armoire). Additionally, the Lake View room has a private screened porch, perfect for taking in the forest sights and sounds in the early morning or evening. The large bathroom has a vanity area with a double-sink, skylight, steam shower/jetted tub combo, a separate stall shower, and a bidet.
