Andrews Southern Charm Bed and Breakfast

Located in downtown Andrews, our lovely quiet bed and breakfast home was built c.1910 by a prominent banking and mercantile family. The house served as a private family residence until the mid 1990's when it was thoughtfully renovated. Care was taken during the renovation to preserve many of the original architectural features. There are polished hardwood floors, transom windows over the doorways, high ceilings, original mantels and covered porches.

There are four unique non-smoking guestrooms. Two spacious main level rooms offer queen beds and private baths with showers. The two second level suites offer king beds, claw foot soaking tubs with shower head, ceiling fans and individually controlled central air/heat. All accommodations feature fluffy bath towels, guest robes, loofahs, cable TV, clock/radios and central air/heat system. Furnishings include unusual metal beds, period antiques, art deco era bronzes and many other one of a kind collectibles.

In the mornings a full home-cooked breakfast starts off your day. Breakfast is at 8:30 am and is served in the dining room. Our gourmet comfort food breakfast changes each day and features freshly ground coffee, a large selection of fine teas, seasonal fruit, juices and unique hot entrees. We will try our best to accommodate any special dietary needs, please let us know at time of reservation. Kitchen privileges for other meals are available upon prior request. With prior notice, a picnic lunch can be prepared for your enjoyment.

Other guest amenities include microwave, refrigerator, complimentary snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks. Fax, copier, free wireless internet and free local phone calls are available. Board games, lending library, magazines, puzzles and relaxing conversations will enhance the day's activities. Ample private parking.

We are located within easy driving distance to Atlanta, GA, Knoxville and Chattanooga, TN, Asheville, NC, Greenville, SC and Birmingham, AL. Andrews is nestled in the heart of Andrews Valley. There is something quite spectacular, even spiritual about mountains and our mountains form a particularly lovely valley. Andrews is framed by the Snowbirds on the north, the Valley River mountains on the south and the Nantahala's on the East.

In close proximity can be found the Cherokee County Museum, Cherokee Hill Golf Course, Joyce Kilmer Forest, Cherokee Reservation and Casino, John C. Campbell Folk School, historic Brasstown and many antique and mountain craft stores. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Nantahala National Forest offer hiking, biking and unparalleled outdoor entertainment. World class white water rafting and kayaking are available on the Nantahala and Ocoee Rivers. Many other attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherohala Skyway, Appalachian Trail, horseback riding, gem hunting, trout fishing and area lakes are within a short drive from Andrews Southern Charm.
