Catskill Lodge is a charming 3-story 1893 Queen Anne Victorian B&B nestled in the Great Northern Catskills in Windham, New York, just 2.5 hours (100 miles) north of NYC. Our 7 bedroom B&B is a quiet, peaceful place for couples and solo travelers to relax, unwind, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Here you will enjoy fresh mountain air, beautiful mountain views, exceptionally warm hospitality, and a freshly prepared breakfast, always made with love. The beauty of Mother Nature surrounds you and offers you the chance to reconnect with the natural world. You will leaving feeling de-stressed and rejuvenated. There are great restaurants, trailheads for hiking, lakes, waterfalls, horseback riding, spas, and two ski mountains within a short distance. The Adirondack Trailways bus stops just minutes away.

Relax and unwind in our cozy living room or parlor where you may thumb through one of our current magazines, peruse our travel books, or read a book from our collection. The front porch is a lovely place to simply sit and take in the beautiful mountain views and fresh air. In our pretty back yard you may find a fellow guest practicing their morning yoga or tai chi or painting. There is amazing hiking nearby, with trails for all levels.
Breakfast is freshly prepared each morning with quality ingredients and always made with love. We attract lovely guests, many of whom are artists of all kind, making for interesting conversation at the breakfast table. Many long-lasting friendships have begun at our special B&B.

Most guests stay with us at our B&B to unwind in a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing atmosphere and to enjoy nature. They come to escape the noise, stress, and chaos of the City.

We are best known for our quiet atmosphere, clean environment, freshly prepared breakfast, and stellar hospitality. Three things make our B&B unique: 1 - it attracts great people all seeking the same thing: peace, quiet, and nature; 2 - great guests and always interesting conversation at the breakfast table, and 3 - the way we make guests feel. What we love most about our B&B is the good energy it has, the amazing mountain views, and the wonderful fresh air outdoors.

Travelers can enjoy nature, mountain views, great hiking, and fresh air.
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?
That even when all 7 rooms are full, it is still very peaceful and quiet, and also that as soon as they walked into the B&B, the space just felt good.
What’s the best kept secret about the area?
The number of restaurants that have great food in the area.
If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?
A traveler could see the Kaaterskill Falls, kayak, canoe or swim at North-South Lake State Park, go for a hike on one of our numerous trails, visit the fun, funky town of Woodstock, peruse antique stores in the nearby towns of Saugerties or Hudson, Zipline at Hunter Mountain, drive down Platte Clove Road for stunning views, look up at the wall of stars at night, or simply sit on the porch, and relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Lunch and dinner restaurants, a coffee shop, a bicycle shop, and a golf course.
What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?
Our favorites are Vesuvio's for classic, old-world Italian food in a cozy atmosphere and Circle W (off the mountain) for a great, fresh lunch in a darling space. We are also very fond of the homemade baguette at Catskill Mountian Country Store.
