The Inn at Gothic Eves

This second floor two-room suite has a bedroom and a sitting room perfect for those couples who have different bed times and morning times. One of you can read the evening away while the other goes to bed early to catch up from the long week. Roman designed the bathroom with an extra large tiled shower, a closet for the toilet, and a restored beautiful vintage sink and radiator. The bedroom has a pillow-top queen bed dressed with fine linens, which is separated from the sitting room by a French door. The sitting room has a cathedral ceiling, loveseat sofa and ottoman, flat-screen 32" HDTV, DVD player, cable, fireplace, refrigerator, and microwave. This sitting room is designed for couples who wish to enjoy this region by never leaving the room.

This room at Gothic Eves is named for the unique award winning wine in the Finger Lakes region which is getting recognized for its own individual taste. California oak fermented Chardonnay used to be the gold standard of the wine critics. Not anymore, the Finger Lakes Wines are winning awards for their fresh, clean, unique flavors just like this room. This large, romantic suite has a king-size bed . Your view overlooks our newly restored Potter House. The fabric - decorated wall, wide-plank floors, and slanted ceilings offer a cozy and romantic feeling to this B&B room. The beautiful Chardonnay room is recognized for its luxurious details with new linens, rugs, and furniture in keeping with the new wine of the Finger Lakes.

The wallpaper, bed linens, and wide-plank pine floors of The Reisling Suite create a beautiful glow in the afternoon sun. This room is reminiscent of Europe with the traditional sink in the room and simple elegance to the decor. Roman and I designed this room to imitate the many places we have stayed in Germany, Austria and Italy. A queen bed and private bath provide a romantic first floor room for all of our stair-challenged bed and breakfast guests.

This B&B room is so named for the deep colored wine which is enjoyed by most wine drinkers because it is not real sweet or real dry. This suite has a beautiful view of the herb and edible flower garden behind the Inn from the very large window in the bedroom. Low stone walls and pathways frame this garden with the brick smokehouse accenting it. The room has a sleigh bed made with dark blue linens to enhance the rich feeling of the wallpaper. This room also features a ceiling fan to create gentle breezes and curtains to keep out the morning light for the late sleeper. The bathroom has a shower.

The wall of windows in The Pinot Suite at The Inn at Gothic Eves gives you a beautiful view of flower and herb gardens, the Potter house, and the sun every morning. This room is romantically furnished with a turn-of-the-century dresser, two comfortable leather chairs with a drop-leaf table and ottoman. The private bathroom was probably the original bathroom when plumbing became fashionable in our Victorian B&B Inn before we renovated. We kept the built-in dresser and medicine cabinet because they are so unusual and a part of the the history of the house. The private bathroom is just steps down the private hallway from the bedroom.

The wide-plank flooring, trim, and pine cathedral ceiling give this room a very open feeling. Great space, no clutter, and woodworking beauty allow our guests to forget all of the everyday concerns of their busy lives. Six windows in just the bedroom provide natural light and the feeling of being outdoors. If Roman and I had to choose a room that we would want for ourselves, it would be this room. The private tiled shower bathroom with two more windows continues the feeling. The loveseat sofa, flat-screen 32" HDTV, DVD player, cable, fireplace, refrigerator, and microwave provide a level of comfort and value to this room.

This Inn room has a queen bed and a private shower bathroom. The room is "L" shaped, so it is more spacious than the photos are able to show. The walnut Victorian loveseat and dresser with glove boxes and marble top are the oldest of our 1830's antiques. There is a game room outside The Syrah Suite that sits 4 which works best for two-couple groups renting this room and the Chardonnay Suite on the opposite side.

• Reservations are secured with a one night's deposit per room in advance. Upon cancellation you are financially responsible for your room unless we are able to re-rent the room.
• Balance of bill must be paid on arrival.

• Reduced rates are available for extended stays.
• Check in is from 3 - 9 p.m.; Check out is at 11 a.m.
• Children are welcome.
• Smoking is prohibited and a charge of $200 will be applied if you do smoke in the Inn.
