    The Copper Penny Inn is an 1860's farmhouse that has been converted to a bed and breakfast with the guest in mind. The Inn offers elegant accommodations in a comfortable, relaxed environment. Located on Route 376 by Vassar College in the the town of Poughkeepsie, the bed and breakfast is convenient to the following popular Hudson Valley destinations: Rhinebeck, Hyde Park, Millbrook and Fishkill.

    Guests are welcome to enjoy the house and grounds. The living room is a perfect spot to relax. In winter, fires are kept burning in both the living room and dining room. A gourmet breakfast is included and served in the dining room or the outdoor terrace in season. The fully appointed pantry is available for guests' convenience. Additional facilities include a large stone terrace and screened porch and 12 wooded acres with trails to streams and a pond.
     
     
     
    All guest rooms are centrally air-conditioned and contain a television with VCR, normally, telephone and a separate teleph
    one jack for computer access. A gourmet breakfast is served between 7:30 - 8:00 am weekdays, and between 8:30 - 9:00 am on weekends and holidays.
     
    Reservations and Policies
     

    Daily room rates range from $139 to $229 plus tax, double occupancy and are subject to change. Corporate mid-week and seasonal off-peak rates are available. A cot for a third person is available for a fee of $30/day in our larger rooms. To make a reservation for more than one night, a 50% deposit is required. If a reservation is cancelled with at least 2 weeks advanced notice, the deposit, less a 20% service fee, will be refunded. 
     
    Check in is 3:00 pm and check out is 11:00 am. No smoking, pets or young children.
