The beautifully restored 1865 Victorian farmhouse bed and breakfast inn provides you with a tranquil setting for your special getaway. The rest of the world will seem far away while you're rocking on the front porch or enjoying a dip in our garden pool.

    Escape to our elegantly romantic guest lodgings complete with plush down comforters and spa robes. Your hectic world will truly slip away as you ease into our hot tub to soak your cares away. Spa and golf packages can be arranged.

    Located 40 minutes from West Point Military Academy, 6 minutes to Mountain Creek Ski Area and Water Park, 1 mile to the Appalachian Trail, 8 minutes to downtown Warwick, 15 minutes to Sugarloaf Craft Village and 25 minutes to Woodbury Commons Outlet Shopping.

    Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

    Most travelers come to the Cider Inn Inn for a quick getaway from the New York Metro area as we are only 55 miles away, yet worlds away from the stress and pressure of city life.

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    Our four course gourmet breakfasts are a hit with all our guests. The Cider Mill Inn's uniqueness can be attributed to its romantic and intimate three bedrooms with all of the comforts of home and more. I love the beautiful location, the wonderful display of nature and the beautiful property.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    The number one reason to come visit is to enjoy the country life with four season activity available.

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    The best compliment recorded in our guest comment book, "A delightful experience! You've created the perfect B&B experience with a wonderful ambiance of joy".

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    The best kept secret about the Warwick Valley is the abundance of hikes right out our front door from the Appalachian Trail, the Long Trail, wildlife and nature preserves to a hike around the property. All of it provides a wonderful opportunity to refresh, relax and restore.

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    A four night stay would allow guests to visit several wineries on the Shawangunk Wine Trail, sample the varied restaurants with many offering local and organic, enjoy some antiquing, catch a concert on the village green and take in a double feature at one of the few remaining Drive-in theaters, and for shop-a-holics, Woodbury Common Premium Outlet, the largest mall in the northeast.

    Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    A means of transportation is essential to enjoy the area.

    What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

    Two guest favorites for dinner are the Iron Forge Inn and Trattoria Viviano.

    Three rooms altogether - two spacious rooms and one suite.

    Do you accept pets?

    We do not accept pets but the Orange County Veterinary Hospital in nearby Goshen offers lodging facilities for cats and dogs. We take our cats and dogs there for their vacation.

Skiing and tubing in the winter on Mount Peter, Sterling Ridge and Mountain Creek and swimming and boating in summer on Greenwood Lake and enjoying the Water Park in Vernon, NJ. And don't forget the many fine restaurants, boutiques and shops and art galleries as well as the many festivals and celebrations throughout the year.
