For those seeking tranquility and restoration... welcome to Pine Bush House Bed and Breakfast, a charming and romantic Victorian home built in 1904. The Inn's quiet elegance has long made it a favorite for honeymoons, anniversaries, and other special getaways. One of the innumerable ways in which we provide exemplary service to our guests is by anticipating their every need. In some cases, that need comes in the form of a request for a "permanent vacation." When this happens, generally we hear a long, contented sigh, followed by an "I wish I never had to leave."We are nestled in the hamlet of Pine Bush, just over an hour drive from New York City. Located on Maple Avenue, we are within strolling distance of downtown (where you can experience relaxed dining or meander through numerous quaint shops); a short scenic drive to the picturesque Shawangunk Mountains; and, minutes from the Shawangunk Wine Trail and the Hudson Valley Wine Trail.
We have recently renovated, and while the main floor is decorated with period furniture and antiques, the 4 bedrooms and 1 suite offer old world charm with modern conveniences. After you start your day with a gourmet breakfast in our sun-drenched dining room, feel free to; return to your room - where every detail has been designed to make your stay both a comfort and a delight; or, you can listen to piano music in our parlor (we have both a vintage player piano and a Victrola) while enjoying a roaring fire; or, put your feet up in our library (while another fireplace keeps you toasty); or, relax on our wrap-around front porch with a glass of lemonade and homemade cookies. Whatever you choose, you will experience our remarkable "white glove treatment".

We are a smoke-free environment with private baths (some with steam showers or Jacuzzi); fireplaces; air conditioning; plush-top mattresses with Egyptian cotton linens; in-room coffee/tea stations; in-room wine chillers; flat screen televisions with in-room movie access; and, high speed wireless internet. The Pine Bush House was built by the owner of a local lumberyard whose hobby was trains. He enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching trains at the turnstile a few blocks away (the turnstile is no longer there). The house was a single family dwelling until about 50 years ago, when it was converted into a Seniors Residence. In the past 25 years, it has also been a Veterans Community Care Home.
Your Hosts: Mark and Barbara GreyThe Greys are southern transplants (from North Carolina) who experienced "love at first sight" with the Hudson Valley Region of New York. Mark is a Sales Executive, while Barbara has over fifteen years of experience in real estate.
Pine Bush House has been totally renovated to provide a combination of old world charm with modern comfort. Whether it's for a romantic getaway, housing for extended relatives visiting, or a business need, we invite you to enjoy the tranquil, enchanting ambiance of our home and the unique activities of the area.
