Steeped in unique history Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast is gracefully poised on more than 2.5 secluded acres of formal gardens and woodlands. Formerly the 'Jackson & Perkins Rose Company Estate', this historic Tudor built in 1844 and tastefully furnished with antiques, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You will be embraced by its charm! Located in the village of Newark, we are only two blocks from the Erie Canal and a convenient drive to Rochester and Syracuse. Our location is just minutes from the Finger Lakes wine trails, local ski resorts, apple farms, outlet shopping, the birthplace of the Mormon religion and many more attractions.

You will encounter warm hospitality and the charm of a country B&B with comfortable, pleasantly appointed accommodations. Four bedrooms, private and shared baths are prepared for your stay. Guests can relax and read a book in the library or by a cozy fire in the parlor. Enjoy a full gourmet breakfast in the formal dining room, or for those who like to relax in the morning enjoy a continental breakfast in the privacy of your room.

The grounds boast a formal rose garden and fountain, large mature trees, many perennials and lovely woodlands. Guests love to stroll along the trail that winds its way from just behind the house and meanders casually to a picnic table in the woodland area or taking afternoon tea in magnificent formal gardens adorned with, dogwoods, cherry trees, flowering perennials, rhododendrons, azaleas and more than 200 varieties of roses.

Each of our four guestrooms has a view of the gardens and its own distinctive feel to make your stay with us a memorable one. Guests can put their feet up and read a book in the library or by a cozy fire in the parlor.

Weddings, Special Events & Business Meetings

Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast has become a favorite destination for weddings and special events, and can accommodate small to large parties. A number of venues are available to our clients. Formal cocktail parties up to fifty can be hosted in our tastefully decorated ground floor. Expansive buffets and BBQ's for larger events up to 100 people can be held in our gardens during the summer months. Social Events and Business Meetings, for smaller groups, can be hosted indoors year round. Whether you wish to conduct business in a private setting, host a private party, or plan your wedding day, we will be happy to help you plan that perfect event.

Your Destination for your Garden Wedding Dream Come True!

On behalf of Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast, we would like to extend our warmest Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. We are delighted that you have considered Vintage Gardens for your wedding ceremony, wedding reception or wedding photo shoot. Garden Ceremonies can be held between May and mid October. The picturesque areas feature manicured lawn, Rose garden with fountain, woodlands and a Pergola. All of these areas will create a beautiful background for your ceremony.

We can accommodate garden weddings of up to 100 people. During the winter months, the estate is open for intimate indoor weddings up to 20 people. Beyond the wedding location, Vintage Gardens can also arrange for food and beverage service, assist in finding the florist, wedding cake designer…even your wedding celebrant should you desire.
