The best compliment that we receive is that we have exceeded guests' dreams and expectations.

What’s the best kept secret about the area?

We believe the best kept secret in this area are the wonderful townhouses located in our Landmark Historic District - and the many celebrities who live in our neighborhood (the Upper West Side).

If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

Travelers who are staying for more than a quick weekend will love taking a stroll in Central Park, visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art just across the park, seeing the dinosaurs at the Museum of Natural History, or catching a ballet or an opera at Lincoln Center. They'll enjoy seeing a concert at the Beacon Theater, trying some of the superb nearby restaurants, and shopping at the famous stores along Broadway.

There are literally dozens of walking distance attractions & convenient commerce areas. Potential guests can refer to the "Surroundings" page in our website for more information.

What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

We love the picturesque views of "The Boathouse" in Central Park (www.thecentralparkboathouse.com), the generous portions of the Italian "Carmine" at 91 St & Broadway (www.carminesnyc.com), and the wonderful pastries & brunch at Cafe Lalo (www.cafelalo.com) - featured in the movie "You've Got Mail" with Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan, which was shot in our neighborhood.

Any good area guides/websites that travelers could reference?

Time Out Magazine is a great guide for this area.
