    River Hill Bed and Breakfast is located in Milton, New York, overlooking the Majestic Hudson River.

    This lovely restored Victorian Bed & Breakfast is situated on a hill and has great overlooking views of the Hudson River. Our Inn offers three charming rooms for guests, each furnished with a unique style of antiques.

    A gourmet homecooked breakfast is served every day in the dining room.

    The Victorian furnished sitting room is available for your relaxation with fireplace, TV & VCR.

    We welcome you to enjoy the large wraparound porch and stroll through grounds with perennial flower gardens.

    We now have wireless internet access for guest's laptops.

    We are near the Walkway over the Hudson River.

    Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

    Because of my river view and the Hudson Valley and the wonderful breakfast!

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    The view of the river is #1.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    It depends on the season but the River, the history, the hiking, the wineries, the colleges, and museums.

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    When a guest said, "This is where I'd like to wake up every morning."

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    I don't think there are any secrets.

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    Go to FDR home and library and Eleanor's Valkill. go to the Vanderbilt House, walk over the Walkway over the Hudson River, go to the Culinary Institute for dinner, go to Storm King Outdoor Sculpture museum, go to DIA Museum, take a cruise on the Hudson. Visit West Point Military Academy, visit Vassar College, take a hike at Minnewaska State Park or Mohonk Mt., or one of Scenic Hudson's trails along the river, take a winery tour and others.

    The library, post office, the Hudson River and Henry's Restaurant

    • I-84 - Exit at Newburgh, 9W North, take 9W 10 miles north to light at Stewarts on right - turn right.
    • At stop sign, turn left onto Main Street.
    • Go two blocks and turn right onto Church Street.
    • Go down small hill to River Hill Bed & Breakfast straight ahead at corner.

    From North

    • I-87 - Thruway Exit at #18, New Paltz, onto Rt. 299, right, East to 9W.
    • Turn right, south and go about 6 miles to light at Stewarts - on left, turn left.
    • Follow directions above.
