    Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

    Upon an internet search potential guests are attracted to the quaint appearance of the inn both inside and out. Blushing Rose Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located in the heart of Hammondsport. This is only 150 yards to Keuka Lake and 200 yards to the village.

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    The inn is best known for the hospitality of the innkeepers, delightful special features, lavish breakfast, home baked organic selections for breakfast and snacks, the beauty of the inn, and the peace that guests experience while staying at the inn. Delightful special features include a hospitality plate upon arrival with chocolate chip cookies, nuts and chocolate; a personal note welcoming guests, which includes special wishes for occasions such as birthday or anniversary; a gentle fountain with chairs for sitting under the shade of a tree; a large cozy porch with a view of Keuka Lake. As innkeepers, we love the charming inn and enjoy catering to our guests.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    Voted the “Coolest Small Town in American” in 2012, Hammondsport offers the charm of a small town with delicious restaurants, antique shops, gift shops, and galleries. The village park centrally located within the shops provides a cool respite while sitting on a bench and eating ice cream from the ice cream parlor. It is a true delight to experience it all with many wineries within minutes of the village.

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    The breakfast and baking is extraordinary; the innkeepers seem to know our favorite food choices without asking; the inn is so peaceful; the hospitality is exceptional! We hear these comments over and over again.

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    The charm of the community and its central location too many opportunities such as museums, galleries, golfing, hiking, antiques, arts and crafts. There are also many theme weekends within the village of Hammondsport itself.
