Rosehaven is 2 1/2 hours from NYC and 30 minutes to Woodstock, Saugerties and Hudson. Once you've checked-in, you're just 10 minutes from Hunter Mountain Ski Area which offers year-round activities. The inn is located just 2 miles from a beautiful State Park with miles of hiking trails, lakes and cascading waterfalls. Wonderful restaurants, golf courses, antique shops and cultural performances provide visitors with ample diversions once you've reached the "mountaintop."

 

 

Rosehaven has four graciously appointed guest rooms. Room One's scrolled black iron bed is draped in an ivory and blue silk duvet and silhouettes against pale pearl grey walls; a comfortable oversized chair flanks a fireplace of tumbled marble. Room Two boasts a sleek four poster canopy bed in rich wood finishes and pale mist green walls; matching distressed leather chairs are set in the second story turret and oppose the oak and granite fireplace. A leather sleigh bed commands attention in Room Three, yet is softened by the warm latte walls, spicy cinnamon fabrics and woven wood shades. An oversized pine four poster bed situated in sun-drenched Room Four overlooks a four window bay and is decorated in pale ivory with splashes of maroon.

Each room enjoys a spacious bath with whirlpool tub and shower, fireplace, satellite TV/DVD/CD, telephone, air conditioning, and mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary beverages. Rates range from $169 to $259/night and include a full breakfast.

Served in our stunning Arts and Crafts inspired dining room, our delectable morning fare features homemade baked goods, fresh fruit, savory egg dishes, French toast and pancakes. The aroma of fresh brewed coffee wafts through the air. Sounds of classical music, the clink of fine china, and the sparkle of crystal add to the sensory experience.
