Inn at Lake Joseph

The Inn consists of three distinct dwellings: The Lodge with its casual English Country environment; and for more rustic accommodations, the Adirondack-style Cottage and Carriage House guestrooms with their own private entrances, where pets are welcome. All room rates include:

Rates

* Rates are daily, double occupancy.

* A 10% service charge is added to your bill, which covers all gratuities.

* Special rates are available for Business Meetings, Business Travelers, Workshops, Seminars and Corporate Retreats.

Minimum Stays

Mid Week: No minimum.
Weekends: Two nights.
Holiday Weekends: Three nights.
July, August, Thanksgiving Holiday & Christmas Week: Two nights.

Partial Stay Option

If you choose to stay less than the minimum nights required,  the remaining night(s)  are open to rent to other guests.  When the remaining night(s) are rented, you pay only for the nights of your stay.   If the room remains vacant, you  pay for the additional night(s) and receive a credit you may apply toward a future stay.   The credit is in Gift Certificate form with no time limit.

However, there are some restrictions to the credit. On weekends, holidays, Christmas Week and the months of July and August, a reservation request to use the credit may be made within the week prior to the requested arrival date.   We then can make a judgment whether we can accept the reservation, based on our occupancy level.

Cancellations

If for any reason you have to cancel within two weeks prior to your arrival, or cannot check in, or if you have to leave prior to your checkout date, you may be charged for one night or one third of your stay, whichever is greater.  However, if you choose to pay for your entire stay (up to 3 nights), you will receive a credit that can be applied toward a future stay on a space-available, stand-by basis. The credit will be in gift certificate form with no time limit.  The Inn reserves the right to charge your credit card account for any unpaid balance due.

Check In / Check Out Times

You may arrive at the Inn any time after 11 am.  We guarantee your guest room will be ready by 2 pm, but if it’s ready earlier, you may go right in. On the day you check out, we must have access to your guest room no later than noon, but you’re welcome to stay on premises the rest of the day to enjoy the facilities.

Children

The adult environment of the Inn at Lake Joseph provides a break for those parents who seek time away from the day-to-day responsibilities of raising small children. We try to encourage this environment by welcoming children twelve and above. Children under 12 may stay with us Sunday through Thursday, September through June, except holidays and Christmas Week.

Fishing

PLEASE NOTE: To protect Lake Joseph from contamination brought in from other bodies of water, the LJHA does not allow outside boats or motors. However, you may use one of the Inn’s approved electric motors if you bring your own battery and charger.
