Escape! Venture off to a quieter spot and discover Sunrise Landing Bed & Breakfast. You will find pristine accommodations, nestled peacefully on a wooded hillside on the west shore of Seneca Lake, right on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. Our small country inn is a perfect spot for a romantic getaway, a respite with friends, or lodging for an extended stay.
Complementing the beautiful, contemporary architecture is an elegantly understated interior, blending many locally handcrafted furnishings with family heirlooms. Large windows welcome the sunlight, and frame your view of the lake, gardens, and surrounding woods. Relax or socialize in our comfortable great room, or outdoors on the deck or patio, all overlooking the water. On cool evenings, gather around the fireplace and savor a view of the lake at dusk.
Each morning, a delicious, full breakfast (including fruits/juices, breads/muffins, special entrées, coffee, tea and more) is served in our garden view dining room. For those who prefer an outdoor setting and a lake view, breakfast is delightful on our spacious, wraparound deck, weather permitting. We are happy to provide vegetarian alternatives and/or accommodate other dietary needs, if you let us know ahead of time.

Meet The Innkeepers: Robert and Barbara Schiesser Originally from Syracuse, we resided in the Rochester, New York suburb of Webster for the past 27 years. Our love of the water and nature led us to purchase our Seneca Lake property in 1986. This project has been a labor of love for us. Everything from the naturalistic landscaping, to the relaxing and comfortable interior, has grown out of our desire to preserve the peaceful nature of our property, and retain the personal atmosphere of our home.
