    Come feel at home at The Englewood Guest House in Chautauqua, New York!  Guests become family as we gather daily over our delicious breakfasts, served on the porch.

    We are Chautauqua's first ECO-FRIENDLY lodging. Our breakfasts are locally derrived, sustainable and mostly organic. We proudly serve delicious Fair Trade Organic Coffee and Teas.  We use recycled paper products, non-toxic and bio-degradable cleaning products (including our linen detergents!), recycle, and compost. 

    We encourage you to bring your own groceries, cook up a meal in our fully-equipped guest kitchen,  come curl up in the cozy living room, take one of our antique Swinn bikes for a spin, or relax in a rocker on the patio.  Centrally located in the very middle of town,  just steps from the Amphitheatre and the Shopping/ Dining district at Chautauqua. The Englewood Guest House is part of the heartbeat of the festival!

    The Englewood Guest House is:

    • Located within the Chautauqua Institution.
    • Rents nightly, weekly and seasonally.
    • Air conditionning available (please inquire).
    • Serves a delicious continental breakfast  daily before the Institution's delightful programming of lectures, concerts, opera and theater.
    • Provides a Wi-Fi connection.





    Some of the other area's activities include boating, golf, tennis, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, birding, dining, wine tasting/tours, museums and the Amish & the Art trails.     The Englewood Guest House strives to keep reasonable rates in  the hopes of sharing Chautauqua with as many folks as we can. We are offer a 10% discount on all weekly rentals booked before December 1st for the following season.

    During the season our rooms are $800-$1200/ per week, including daily breakfast. All rooms include the use of our guest kitchen, WiFi and Bikes.
