The Englewood Guest House is centrally located within The Chautauqua Institution, just steps from the Amphitheatre, Bestor Plaza Shopping and the Library. The Chautauqua Institution's summer season runs the last week in June through the 3rd week in August. Both Weekly and Nightly reservations are accepted for in-season stays. Delicious continental breakfast is served daily before the Institution's delightful programming of lectures, concerts, opera and theater. Some of the other area's activities include boating, golf, tennis, swimming, hiking, wine tasting/tours, museums and the Amish & the Art trails. We are now proudly working with a strong ethical focus on local, organic and sustainable foods as well as use primarily recycled, biodegradable and/or non-toxic cleaning and paper products for the third year.  As an added bonus, we offer the use of our vintage bikes, and have added a private wi-fi connection for our guests.

During the 'off season,' though the Institution's programming is over, the beauty and activities of Chautauqua County are always available: golf, tennis, boating, birding, dining (from great pizza to fine gourmet), movies, theater, hiking and wine tasting and museums (Lucy-Desi Museum, Roger Tory Peterson Museum and Robert Jackson Law Center in nearby Jamestown)."

The Englewood Guest House strives to keep reasonable rates in the spirit of sharing Chautauqua with as many folks as we can. We are offer a 15% discount on all seasonal rentals booked before December 1st for the following year. We offer a 10% discount on all weekly rentals booked before January 1st.

During the season our rooms are $775-$975 per week, including daily breakfast. All rooms include the use of our guest kitchen.
