    Gone With The Wind

Scarlett would have loved the queen four-poster bed and private alcove bath and shower draped in fringed silk worthy of a ball gown. Just outside the windows, our 250-year-old sugar maple spreads shade and comfort.

    Off-Season $89, In-Season $99, $109

    Victorian Style

Step back into a time when opulence reigned. Step up into the Queen four-poster bed, much more relaxed than the stern, gilt-framed ancestors gazing back at you, or the pioneers who brought the antique mirrored chest across the state in a covered ox cart in 1807. This room features a private bath, claw-foot tub, shower, and a scenic view.

    Off-Season $89, In-Season $99, $109

    Little House

When Laura Ingalls Wilder wrote her simple letter to our family, little did she know that it would be framed as the centerpiece of this cozy maple tree-shaded room under the eaves, with hand-woven rugs, old writing desk, rocker, spinning wheel, and the full series of books by the author. Room includes full separate bath and shower.

    Off-Season $89, In-Season $99, $109

    Room With A View

Framed by flowered chintz, all outdoors is yours to view from the dual-King lyre bed in this second floor room. Luxuriate in the private sheer-curtained alcove bath with vanity in this spacious chamber. With sky and meadow all around, you'll surely spend some time in the easy chair browsing through the books and works of art that celebrate the country life and its pleasures.

    Off-Season $99, In-Season $119, $129

    Grandma's Rose of Sharon

This cozy retreat invites a good night's sleep and recalls another day, when Grandmother's room meant a comfy bed, white Priscillas, milk-glass lamps, chenille, a prized doll, a good read, primroses and old-fashioned portraits of the little ones. Private lavatory with shower. First floor.

    Off-Season $69, In-Season $79, $89

    Teddy Roosevelt

The Rough Rider would have chosen this spacious, three-windowed room with a view of meadows, pond and sky. Queen cherry sleigh bed, hand-hewn ceiling beam, Mexican tile floors, plank walls lined in patches with old newsprint, all complement the hand-embroidered Presidential standard owned by Dave’s grandfather, that had been flown in a parade for President Theodore Roosevelt in 1903, the year of Dave’s mother’s birth.
Full bath, second exit to back porch. First Floor.

    Off-Season $99, In-Season $119, $129
