    Relax in the pampered comfort of our southwestern bed & breakfast while you enjoy the sun-blessed pleasures of Otero County and the Village of Tularosa, New Mexico. Walk the quiet neighborhoods and explore the shops in the village, or take day trips to fabulous nearby attractions. Our restored adobe home, built in the 1850s, features 2-foot walls, 12-foot ceilings, viga ceiling beams and kiva fireplaces.

    Listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings, Hacienda De Mi Madre is an adobe home with modern amenities that provides a private retreat for any traveler. In keeping with Hispanic tradition, all rooms open onto the private courtyard and patio with shade trees and flowering plants. The common sitting room has hundreds of books for the avid reader as well as Dish TV and kiva fireplace. The full kitchen is available to all guests.

    The living room has 12' ceilings with exposed beams, dish TV, kiva fireplace, carpet and ceiling fan, and is decorated in early 1900s furniture. The Kitchen has 12' ceilings, exposed beams, tile floor and all amenities. All rooms have access to the patio and courtyard.

    The East Wing is decorated in Eastlake furniture (circa 1880-1900). This 20 x 15 room has a tile floor with large area carpet, ceiling fan, kiva fireplace, exposed viga beams, large dressing room with handicapped shower, and access to the courtyard and patio.

    The West Room

    The West Wing is decorated in Golden Oak furniture (1890-1910). This 16 x 15 room has carpet, exposed viga beams, ceiling fan, original fire holes (used for defense in early times), bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi tub, and a washer and dryer.
