Casita del Sol y la Luna
Casita del Sol y la Luna is our two-bedroom guesthouse and can accommodate up to 6 guests. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. The living room has a sleep sofa. There is one bathroom with a large walk-in shower. This Casita can accommodate a wheelchair. This is the only Casita suitable for children age 5 and younger.
Casita de los Animalitos
Casita de los Animalitos is a one-bedroom guesthouse and can accommodate up to 3 people including children age 6 and older. The bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has a full-size sleep sofa. This guesthouse has one bathroom with a combination tub/shower (accessible through the bedroom), a separate living room/dining room with full kitchen and kiva fireplace, and porch.
Casita de los Arboles
Casita de los Arboles is a one-bedroom guesthouse, accommodating up to 3 people including children age 6 and older. Its bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. It has one bathroom with a combination tub/shower (accessible through the bedroom), a separate living room/dining room with full kitchen and kiva fireplace, and porch.
Casita de las Flores
Casita de las Flores is a one-bedroom guesthouse, accommodating up to 3 people including children age 6 and older. Its bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. It has one bathroom with a combination tub/shower (accessible through the bedroom), a separate living room/dining room with full kitchen and kiva fireplace, and porch.
Casita de los Pájaros
Casita de los Pájaros is a one-bedroom guesthouse and can accommodate up to 3 people including children age 6 and older. The bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has a full-size sleep sofa. This guesthouse has one bathroom with a combination tub/shower (accessible through the bedroom), a separate living room/dining room with full kitchen and kiva fireplace, and porch.

- Rates range from $140 to $220 per night, based on number of people and length of stay

- We welcome children at Casitas de Gila! But please note that our 2-bedroom Casita is the ONLY CASITA SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN AGE 5 OR YOUNGER!
- All rates include Continental Breakfast for first 4 nights.
- There is a $10 per night additional charge for stays over the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's holiday periods.
- NM Gross Receipts Tax of 6.1875% and Grant Co. Lodgers Tax of 5% are additional.
- Please be sure to read our deposit and cancellation policies below before you make your reservation.
- Pets: Out of consideration for people who are allergic to animals, we regret that we DO NOT ALLOW PETS at Casitas de Gila Guesthouses.
- Children: Children age 5 and younger are welcome in Casita del Sol y la Luna, our 2-bedroom Casita, which can accommodate up to 6 people. Our 1-bedroom casitas can accommodate up to 3 people, including children age 6 and over. Guests must be at least 18 years old to occupy a Casita without an adult. In other words, we will not make a room reservation for a minor without an adult staying in the room as well. Children under the age of 15 must be in the company of an adult at all times when on our property and may not be left alone in a Casita. The minimum age for use of our hot tub is 12 years (having done a great deal of research on immune systems and safety issues). We recognize that the incredible quiet we have at Casitas de Gila Guesthouses and Nature Preserve is difficult to find in the world today, and we want all our guests to be able to enjoy it. Casitas de Gila is a wonderful place for children who love nature and the out-of-doors. We understand that children are happy and boisterous, but we do ask that you and your children be respectful of other guests who have come here anticipating a quiet getaway.
- Reservation, Deposit & Cancellation Policies: All reservations require a 50% deposit at time of reservation. We accept all major credit cards. If your plans should change and you find it necessary to cancel your reservation, we would appreciate knowing as early as possible. If you fail to cancel your reservation, any deposit paid will be forfeited. We regret there are no refunds or credits within 24 hours of arrival date for early departures, late arrivals or cancellations. If you cancel your reservation more than 21 days prior to arrival, your deposit will be refunded less a $25 per casita cancellation fee. If your cancellation is less than 21 days prior to arrival, please see next two items.
- NON-HOLIDAY PERIOD BALANCE & CANCELLATION POLICY: The balance owed on your reservation is payable on arrival. Refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 21 days prior to arrival subject to our ability to fill the reservation and less a $25 per casita cancellation fee. If we cannot fill your cancelled reservation, we will extend to you a credit for the amount of your deposit to be used for another stay at Casitas de Gila within 12 months of your originally scheduled stay. One reschedule only, please.
- HOLIDAY PERIOD BALANCE & CANCELLATION POLICY: The balance owed on your reservation is payable 21 days prior to arrival. Refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 21 days prior to arrival subject to our ability to fill the reservation and less a $25 per casita cancellation fee. This means that if we can fill your cancelled room(s), we will happily refund your money (less the cancellation fees). Otherwise, we regret we can make no refunds. We dislike charging anyone for time they are not here — that's not our goal, and maintaining goodwill is important to us as a business. But we do have only a limited number of rooms and late cancellations often cost us the chance to book the room to someone else.
- Check-In and Check-Out Times: Check-in is between 3 PM and 6 PM. We are happy to accommodate early and late arrivals, but it is necessary for you to notify us in advance so that we are sure to be available. We do ask that departures be made by 10 AM so we have time to prepare the Casitas for our next guests. We will always try to accommodate late departures; 24-hour notice is needed so we can alert our housekeeping staff. Please note that our housekeeping staff may not be able to adjust their schedule.
