There are great day trips in any direction--Santa Fe, Acoma Pueblo, the Salinas National Monument, Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, the Very Large Array, El Malpais lava flows, El Morro National Monument (Inscription Rock), the Turquoise Trail, Bandelier National Monument, and the Jemez Mountains.

Enjoy our blue skies and great weather year-round with outdoor activities--walking, hiking, bicycling, skiing, snowboarding, golfing, horseback riding, Jeep tours, festivals and concerts. And Albuquerque is the hot air balloon capital of the world!

  • Breakfast

Start your morning with tea or great coffee from our local roaster, juice, and a bowl of seasonal fresh fruit.. We'll delight you with great entrees like cheese souffles with ancho-raspberry sauce, blueberry French toast casserole, green chile quiche, orange French toast, or maybe blue cornmeal pancakes.  Our entrees are accompanied by a variety of breakfast meats and perhaps scones, muffins or biscuits. With our perfect weather on most days from late spring through early fall, breakfast in the courtyard is a real treat. Have your camera ready to take pictures of hummingbirds at the feeders!

House-made cookies, tea, coffee and sodas are always available. Feel free to enjoy them in your room, in the living room, dining room or in the yard while you watch the finches, hummingbirds, goldfinches, and the occasional woodpecker or roadrunner.

  • Activities Nearby

Albuquerque is a great home base for easy day trips a little farther away--Santa Fe, Acoma Pueblo, the Salinas National Monument, the Turquoise Trail, Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, and the lava tubes at El Malpais near Grants. Hot air balloon rides, magnificent golf courses, horseback riding, hiking, skiing, concerts and festivals--so much to do and so little time! Bring your camera for a week and you'll leave your heart forever.
