Mornings are a delight at Serendipity! Awake to the tantalizing aroma of freshly brewed coffee and home-baked goods. Enjoy a scrumptious, healthy breakfast of your choice in our spacious dining room with private seating and the morning paper.
Food is our specialty! We take pleasure in accommodating most diets – vegetarian, vegan, lactose-intolerant, gluten-free, heart healthy and hi-protein diets.
Built in 1912, Serendipity B&B is a fully air conditioned inn where windows abound in five tastefully decorated rooms of soft pastels and comfortable wicker, enhanced by cable TV, DVDs, air conditioning, private baths, fluffy robes and slippers, ceiling fans, hair dryers and clock radios.
When you are ready to venture out, there is plenty of activities and attractions for you to enjoy. Ocean City is 15 minutes south of Atlantic City and 30 minutes north of Victorian Cape May. Be sure to enhance your stay with one of our specials that will be sure make your visit more memorable.

Your breakfast is cooked to order each morning. Start with your choice of juice, a bowl of fruit and a muffin or coffee cake, still warm from the oven. Then on to your choice of entrée! Choose an omelet today filled with freshly steamed vegetables. A guest favorite is Strawberry Filled Stuffed French Toast. Tomorrow choose Apple-Cinnamon pancakes – either whole wheat or buttermilk – filled with chunks of apples and topped with more cinnamon and apples. During warmer months enjoy a smoothie made with fresh fruits accompanied by a bowl of Serendipity Granola. A steaming bowl of oatmeal topped with yogurt and fresh fruits will give you a good start to the day!
Special diets are never a problem. A vegan choice might include a tofu scramble. Gluten-free entrées could be a waffle or pancakes made with Pamela’s Gluten-free mix. Let us know how we can accommodate your dietary restrictions!
The dining room at our b&b includes a microwave and guest refrigerator for your use. The refrigerator is stocked with cold soda. Filtered water is on hand all day and night along with snacks. Hot water along with numerous varieties of teas, instant coffee, and hot chocolate is available whenever you want.

Walk the Boards... Be entertained at the movie theater - just 1/2 block. Treat your toes to a barefoot romp in the surf... Schedule an appointment for a fabulous shiatsu massage or reflexology - ahhh! Delight in the wonderfully different and fun shops on Asbury Avenue...

Route 95 North to Delaware Memorial Bridge to New Jersey Route 40 East to Mays Landing. Take Route 559 to Somers Point/Ocean City Circle. Follow signs for Ocean City, crossing over 9th Street Bridge. Follow 9th Street to Serendipity on the right. (Use our driveway on the ocean side of the inn.)
