The Apple Valley Inn is a colonial mansion built in 1831 in scenic Pochuck Valley, the heart of the Skylands. The Inn's name is a salute to the choice apple farms that grace the region. Our exquisite three level home features wrap around porches and awe-inspiring views of the countryside. The home uniquely offers the privacy and seclusion for romantic getaways, while also providing a warm inviting atmosphere ideal for creating just the right backdrop for your memorable group gathering (family reunions, showers, weddings, business meetings, conferences, etc.).

The Inn has a long history of welcoming guests and each room has been specially decorated and furnished with care. While the interior of the home offers a splendid mix of history and comfort for our guests, our bountiful gardens tell a story all on their own. The passion and love that was devoted to creating and cultivating the gardens is immediately apparent and guests love to stroll through the grounds and explore the flowering treasures.
For those of our guests that are looking for more than a pampered relaxing stay, the area is exceptionally well know for a diverse array of activities to meet anyone's needs. Skiing on the slopes of nearby Mountain Creek or Hidden Valley is a winter favorite, while area leaf peeping and apple picking in the fall is second to none. The summer months offer many golf courses for the choosing, action at the Water Park, or saddle up at the many riding stables located throughout the area. Year round antiquing and visits to our local wineries provide yet another adventure.
The beauty of the valley long ago caught the attention of nature enthusiasts and hikers, both seasoned and beginners are frequent and welcomed guests at the Inn. The Appalachian Trail, less then 1 mile from the Inn, offers our guests the opportunity to visit with nature in the most spectacular way. A full country breakfast is included in the price of your stay. You will be served such breakfast delights as fresh fruit, wonderful home baked cakes and muffins.
