Each day breakfast at Main Street Manor starts with a blended juice, french vanilla yogurt with fresh fruit and inn made granold... sometimes we add a seasonal twist.  Entrées have included things like Egg Nog French Toast, Apple, Brie and Bacon Strata with Rosemary and Marjoram or Walnut Sweet Potato Pancakes with warm Maple Syrup.  Main entrees are accompanied by chicken sausage with granny smith apples, maple glazed thick slab bacon or pork & fennel sausage. Fresh herbs are used in our breakfast preparation and oftentimes are harvested from Main Street Manor's own organic herb garden.

We alternate our menus to sweet one day and savory the next, always taking our guests dietary needs into consideration. Vegetarian and vegan guests can be accommodated as well as any other dietary restrictions. Please let us know upon making reservations so we can plan the best possible breakfast for you.

Afternoon Tea and coffee is available 24/7 and are always inspired by the time of year or what in the garden is freshest. Our fruit bowl is brimming with healthy treats or enjoy a sweet indulgence freshly made in the Inn's kitchen.

Some of our favorites include Blueberry Butter Cake, Pecan Pie Brownies, Double-Chocolate Chip Cookies or our 'Blue Ribbon' Rustic Apple Cake. Spring and Summer brings pitchers of Herbal Iced Tea, Fresh Squeezed Lemonade or Virgin Mojitos; In Fall and Winter enjoy a cup of organic Chai, some Hot Mulled Cider or a Hot Cocoa!

Expanded afternoon tea is served on weekends at 4pm and in the evening guests may enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or cordial. At times we prepare some picky treats as a compliment to our offered aperitifs. Ken's famous heirloom tomato bruschetta is a guest favorite when the Jersey tomatoes are plentiful!

  • Innkeepers Donna & Ken Arold

We hope you can make some time to visit Main Street Manor Bed & Breakfast and experience its magic as we did the first time we stepped foot inside. ~ Ken & Donna

It was Christmastime, 2004 when we came upon this beautiful Manor House. It had been a Bed & Breakfast for 11 years, and had changed owners 3 times. From the first moment we felt its warmth, and knew this was where we wanted to be. We felt it needed us and how we wanted it! We had been looking for an Inn to purchase in the Hunterdon and Bucks areas for several years, but nothing so far had come to fruition. We decided to try again, and all the pieces just fell into place. The Victorian home we owned at the time sold quickly and it allowed us to actually purchase Main Street Manor in April of 2005.

Our vision for the Inn was to take 'the best' of our Bed & Breakfast travels for over 10 years, and make Main Street Manor that, for our guests. We wished to create a welcoming place of tranquility for visitors, and provide them with the comforts of home and lots more. We brought our special interests inside and began to incorporate what we love, into the Inn's personality—nature, flowers, good food, wine, lots of books, even the Labradors became a part of the Inn!

Today, Main Street Manor is what we envisioned it to be from that first moment.

We love what we do here, especially making guests feel special and cultivating new friendships. In the past five years, we have had the pleasure of hosting several dozen weddings along with numerous showers, anniversary and birthday celebrations. We thank our guests for the opportunity to be a part of their special memory, made here at Main Street Manor. We invite you to join us, be our guest and stay awhile, come and let us spoil you.

  • Business and Corporate Guests

Main Street Manor welcomes business travelers and corporate guests! We do our best to ensure that your stay with us is a true escape from 'the norm' of the generic hotel. We strive to provide a true escape for all our guests. Because the Inn is a private home and not a hotel, we are able to provide a comfortable retreat and the type of service and attention to detail that the larger hotels are just not able to.

We believe in greeting all our guests upon their arrival, (even if it's late evening) and aquatinting them with the Inn. Female travelers will feel secure knowing that we are located in a safe & walkable town, and that the owners live at the Inn and are accessible to guests if need be.

Breakfast is provided seven days a week and can be served weekdays at a time that works best with the business traveler's schedule. All we ask is advance notice and the requested breakfast time.

The Inn is completely Wifi Internet accessible—in all guestrooms and common areas. Each guestroom has an iron & ironing board, hairdryer, cable TV, is climate controlled within each guestroom and provides a queen featherbed with full private bath.

All our amenities, both in-room and those shared by other guests in the Inn's common space is what sets us apart from an overnight stay at a hotel. Our focus is on your comfort and creating an experience for all of our guests; whether it is an overnight business trip or a romantic getaway.

We offer no discounts or corporate rates for stays less than 3 nights because credit card processing fees, especially on corporate and rewards cards, have escalated to such a high rate. We can, however offer you a 'no breakfast' rate of $10.00 off the regular room rate.

We hope that the amenities the Inn offers and the unique comfort and atmosphere of Main Street Manor will entice you to choose the warmth of our Bed & Breakfast over a stay at a chain hotel.
