The Queen Victoria ® Bed & Breakfast Inn

With the Queen Victoria, our lodging in Cape May offers many different accommodation options. We offer thirty-two attractive rooms and suites, all with private bath, color television with DVD players (for those who prefer to "step back" to a quieter time, just ask and we will remove the television from your room for your stay), mini-refrigerator, hair dryer, clock radio, iron and ironing board, and air conditioning. The large premium rooms and all suites offer luxury baths with whirlpool tubs. Some have a gas-log fireplace. Wireless internet is available throughout our beautiful Cape May bed and breakfast.

The décor is a refreshing blend of modern comforts and period antiques with special attention to the benefit of a great night's sleep. The bedding is consistent with the high standard of The Queen Victoria® with 310-count cotton sheets, topped with a handmade quilt or custom comforter. You are sure to enjoy our lodging in Cape May.

Policies

Minimum Stays
Because there are so many sights, restaurants and shops for you to enjoy in Cape May in every season, we recommend stays of several nights. Our “Planning Your Vacation” and “Calendar of Events” pages on this web site are helpful as you arrange your vacation at one of the top rated inns in Cape May. During the busy seasons, holidays and weekends, we accept reservations for three and sometimes four nights at a minimum. In November and January through March, we are able to offer 2 night weekend stays for your enjoyment. Weekdays, mid-September through mid-June, often offer attractive prices and more flexible booking minimums.
Rates
All quoted rates are double occupancy. There is a charge of $25/night per person for each additional guest in a room.
Extra Guests
There are a limited number of rooms that have more than one bed, which can accommodate more than two guests. We cannot accommodate additional guests in any other rooms. We do not provide roll-away beds or cots. We cannot allow our guests to bring their own beds to facilitate extra guests.
Deposit Information
Reservations should be made by telephone as far in advance as possible.
•A deposit equal to 50% of the room charge (excluding taxes) is required to secure your reservation.
•A reservation is not confirmed until a deposit is received.
Cancellation Policy
A three-week notice is required if you must change or cancel your reservation. If you cancel after that date, you will receive a refund of the deposit only if the room can be re-rented. All refunds are subject to an administrative fee of $25.
Smoking Policy
No Smoking. New Jersey State fire regulations prohibit smoking in all our buildings. Smoking is permitted only outdoors. We would suggest heavy smokers seek other accommodations.
No Candles. For fire safety reasons no candles, incense or open flames are permitted in any portion of our property.
Child Policy
Most guests staying at The Queen Victoria Bed & Breakfast are couples seeking a romantic get-away. Some of our rooms can accommodate 1 or 2 well behaved children, age 8 or older, for families seeking a special vacation in an elegant Victorian setting. Most children don't appreciate a property like ours as much as their parents might, though we are pleased to welcome them.
Pet Policy
Like most inns in Cape May, we cannot accommodate any pets at The Queen Victoria®.
Parking
Off street parking is provided for five of our suites. One of The Queen Victoria®'s best features is its central location within the historic district. Most of Cape May's attractions are within a few blocks (easy walking distance) of the inn, so you will not need your car once you arrive. We are conveniently located at the edge of the residential district, so free un-metered street parking is available on the blocks surrounding the inn. For your convenience during check-in and check-out we have loading areas located around our buildings. We are pleased to provide limited handicapped parking at our Cape May bed and breakfast.
Packages/Discounts
During some seasons we are pleased to offer Cape May vacation packages. These packages are not available for online bookings. If you are interested in one of our packages, you must call us to arrange for it. Discount pricing will not be extended for online bookings.
