Afton Inn is open May 1st through Oct. 31st, but available for reservations year round.
At the Afton Inn, innkeepers Paul and Debby Schmidt have worked hard
to restore the beauty of the historic Waumbeck Farm.
Built in the early 1800's as the hub of one of the first chartered farmsteads in Wolfeboro, the Waumbeck Farm was purchased in 2000 and completely restored. We offer our guests four elegantly decorated rooms with private baths (2 w/whirlpool tubs), A/C, cable TV, VCR, CD player and individually zoned heat. A sumptuous multi course breakfast greets you in the morning, which can be enjoyed indoors or on our large screened wraparound porch. Wolfeboro, the "Oldest Summer Resort in America" offers the New England small town experience with fine shops, dining, museums and outdoor activities. We have a large parking area suitable for trailers, free boat launch within 1 mile and a barn for storing bikes, kayaks and motorcycles.
