Churchill Often confused with the prime minister of Britain, Cornish's Winston Churchill was hailed as the most popular author of fiction in America between 1900 and 1925. The room is furnished with a Victorian love seat and canopied queen size bed. It also features a fireplace and views of the back lawns, swimming pool and red clay tennis court. Saint Gaudens Augustus Saint-Gaudens was the area's most famous resident. The sculptor lived and worked in Cornish from 1884 until his death. Decorated in a toile of rich earthtones, it is furnished with a queen size canopied bed and early French and American antiques. Maxfield Parrish This opulent two-room suite is named after Maxfield Parrish, the famous illustrator who lived and worked in Cornish. The suite features a sitting room with fireplace and antiques. Isadora Duncan Isadora Duncan, the most significant woman in the history of the dance, had many admirers in the Cornish community and often came to perform at The Oaks, the home of Maxfield Parrish. This sunny country room overlooks the front lawns and gardens and is furnished with pine antiques in a garden theme. It has a queen size canopied bed, oriental rugs and a fireplace. The Carriage House:Newly renovated and expanded, this charming cottage offers six country guest rooms,
many with private entrance and patio. Each room is individually decorated with warm
hues and each is named in honor of the historic founders of Home Hill.
Thomas Gallup In 1763 Thomas Gallup received a grant from King George the 3rd, of 300 acres of land along the Connecticut River in Plainfield, NH. As part of the condition of the grant, they cleared and farmed the land and prospered on the produce from the rich Connecticut Valley. A charming country room with wall-to-wall carpeting, king size bed and sitting area with pull out sofa and country pine furniture, overlooking the tennis court. Rate: $200 Holiday / Foliage $229

Roscoe Gray and Henry Smythe Roscoe Gray, Justice of the peace and Quorum for the state of New Hampshire, and his family were the last of seven generations of the Gallup-Woodman-Grays to inhabit the property. Henry Smythe, a noted Harvard scholar and former Chief Geologist resided on the estate with his family until 1944. Elegant yet cozy, these queen-bedded rooms, each with fireplace and private entry, are decorated in classic, country toiles. Rate: $170 Holiday / Foliage $200
Maria Woodman A fifth generation Gallup and the first woman to inherit the Home Hill property, Maria's son went on to become the mayor of Los Angeles in 1916. John Bissell and Ted Burgess Shortly after the Second World War, Home Hill was acquired by the Bissel family. It remained in their family until the 1960's when local attorney Ted Burgess bought the estate. Ted Burgess renamed the estate "Holy Stone Barn" after a horse that he rode as a boy. Welcoming second floor rooms, each with wall-to-wall carpet, country pine antiques, queen size beds and dormer windows. Rate: $160 Holiday / Foliage $189

- All rates are per room, per night, based on single or double occupancy.
- The rate per additional person per room is $35 per night.
- Country continental breakfast is included.
- At departure a 8% New Hampshire Rooms Tax will be added to your bill.
- The entire property is available for private family functions or corporate gatherings.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.

- Deposit: We require a deposit equal to 50% of your total stay or a one night minimum for each room reserved. For Dartmouth Graduation, payment in full is required at the time of reservation. Reservations may be secured by credit card only.
- Cancellations:
- Because of our small size, cancellations affect us greatly.
- A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of filling the space.
- For these reasons, we uphold a strict cancellation policy.
- Once you have secured your reservation with a deposit, you are fully obligated for your entire stay.
- If you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit with at least 30 days notice (6 months for
- Dartmouth Graduation weekend), less a $25 administrative fee.
- For cancellations made within the 30-day period, no refund will be possible regardless of the reason, unless we are able to re-book your accommodations.
- Should it be necessary to arrive later or depart earlier than your confirmed dates, you will be responsible for all of the original room nights booked for your intended stay.
- Your accommodations will be ready after 2 p.m., with check-out at 11 a.m.
- Pets: We love them, but regretfully we cannot accept them.
- Smoking: All of our rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed outside on our terraces. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
- Special Requests: With appropriate notice we can make just about any request a possibity! Just ask when making your reservations.
