For more than a century, New Englanders have been calling the White Mountains their vacation time retreat. The fresh air and spectacular views give visitors a chance to escape the crowds of the city and relax with their friends and family. Take a step off the busy beaten path of Route 16 and you will find yourself at the doorstep of the Cranmore Mountain Lodge. We are an historic farmstead Inn & Resort, a favorite of White Mountains travelers for over 80 years. Our family friendly Bed & Breakfast is set on more than 8 peaceful acres, with the beautiful Kearsarge Brook running along the back border of our property. Cranmore Mountain Lodge provides an ideal "home base" for all your White Mountains/Mt Washington Valley's activities. Only one mile from Cranmore Mountain Resort, a very popular ski resort with 11 lifts, including a high speed detachable quad and 200 acres of skiable acreage, it is practically at the center of North Conway, and 10 minutes from Storyland. We are only 1.5 mile off the main road; far enough to avoid traffic yet close enough to visit the village for dinner or just a stroll.

he visited his daughter and son-in-law in the 1940s when they owned the inn.

Featuring all the charm of an Inn built in the 1840s, this property features 20 units, smoke-free, four of which are suites (two with kitchenette), and all have private baths, cable television (except room 6), wireless internet access, individual AC and phone service. Room 19 in the Loft has a jacuzzi bath. Suite 17 is ideal for your romantic getaway, with an in-room whirlpool that can accommodate two persons. Some rooms have a refrigerator and microwave, as well as DVD or Video player. Our guests are welcome to use a refrigerator and a microwave in our kitchen. Suite 12, Room 19, Suite 24 and Suite 25 are dog friendly! Each room is decorated in a different style and features a choice of comfortable king, queen, double beds and bunk beds. The second floor's rooms in the Main Lodge have natural maple flooring, while the other rooms have carpeted floor. Whether you come alone for a business trip, with your spouse for a romantic weekend, with your family for one night or a week, we have the right accommodation for you, at an affordable rate.
Rates and Policies - Rates are based on 2 or 4 people occupancy, depending of the rooms. Children under 10 are free. Add $20 (+tax) for each additional person over the age of 10 in the room ($25 during fall foliage season). Deduct $10/night + tax for single occupancy rate.
- Rates include full country breakfast cooked to order and afternoon refreshments (served on Friday and Saturday only).
- All rates are subject to the 9% New Hampshire Rooms & Meals tax
- All rates are subjects to change and are based on availability.
- Rates do not include gratuities.
- Reservations are confirmed by email (unless you request it by mail) upon receipt of an advanced deposit made with a valid credit card (Mastercard, Visa or American Express):
- One full day's rate is required for a one night reservation.
- 50% deposit is required for two or more nights.
- 50% deposit and an agreement letter is required for any group reservation.
- Deposits are applied to the last day of your reservation.
- There is a $25 surcharge per room on all cancellations to cover paperwork ($30 during fall foliage season).
- A fourteen day cancellation notice is required to receive a full refund (30 day notice during fall foliage season).
- Reservations cancelled less than 2 weeks in advance will be refunded only if we are able to rent to others.
- If the room remains un-rented, we gladly issue a gift certificate in the value of your deposit, valid for one year.
- Early checkouts forfeit their deposits and are responsible for all nights booked.
- If you are suffering from a food allergy (gluten, nuts, eggs, dairy...), please mention it upon reservation. We'll do our best to accommodate your special diet (we always have on hand gluten free items).
- The lodge is entirely smoke free. We'll charge your credit card with a $200 cleaning fee if this is not respected.
- Check-in time is 3 to 8 pm (Eastern time). Early or late check in are available upon request and after agreement with the innkeepers. Early check-in is not possible during Fall foliage season and Holidays. Check-out time is 11 am.
