Brookhill Bed and Breakfast - North Conway, New Hampshire

Brookhill Bed and Breakfast is one of North Conway, New Hampshire's most unique lodgings with a single suite and a balcony seat view of Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range. It perches on a stone-terraced hill overlooking the Saco River Valley below and the White Mountains beyond. Just 1.5 miles north of North Conway Village, Brookhill B&B offers a private setting for enjoying New Hampshire's most painted and photographed White Mountain vista.

    Suite Living Room

Unlike traditional lodging where common rooms are shared, at Brookhill Bed and Breakfast your living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, mountain-view terrace and garden patio are yours exclusively. Choose either one or two bedrooms for your stay. The entire suite is on the first floor and has a private entrance. Two-course homemade breakfasts are served in the dining room, your bedroom, in front of the fireplace or on the terrace. You choose the time and the place.

Whether you come to Brookhill B&B seeking a private retreat, a romantic getaway, an unforgettable honeymoon, a birthday celebration, a few days of skiing or hiking, or New Hampshire's tax-free shopping, Brookhill B&B will surround you with elegance in a spectacular, secluded setting.

    Dining RoomBreakfast at Brookhill B&B

Leisurely and elegant breakfasts are a tradition at Brookhill Bed and Breakfast. Mornings are the times to celebrate all the possibilities that each day holds. Our breakfasts are served on fine china with linen napkins, candles, and fresh flowers. And breakfast is different every day depending on our whims and fancies and what fresh, organic and locally grown foods are available. But our fare is not always traditional. We think curried salmon cakes with sherry-white sauce and toasts with creamy goat cheese or omelets filled with fluffy garlic-laced potatoes and sharp cheddar cheese with sautéed basil tomatoes on the side are great ways to start the day. If your tastes are simpler, our Appalachian Trail homemade granola and fresh fruit are always an alternative. And we are happy to provide vegetarian fare. Just let us know.

    Area Attractions

Every season in New Hampshire's White Mountains offers a wide selection of recreational and cultural activities. Just 1.5 miles north of North Conway village, Brookhill Bed and Breakfast is central to all of them.

Our property borders on hundreds of acres of meadows and woodlands with Dinsmore Brook and the Saco River ever-present. Miles of trails on this undeveloped and protected land provide scenic walks in warm weather, and in winter, 65km of trails are groomed for classical and skate skiing. Hiking, biking, canoeing, river tubing, kayaking, swimming, golfing, fly-fishing, horseback riding and rock climbing are all within 5 minutes of Brookhill. In winter, alpine and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice climbing, winter hiking, ice-skating and sleigh rides are also no more than 5 minutes away.

Cultural attractions abound. Summer concerts in North Conway's beautiful Schouler Park are a favorite. They begin with picnics and end under the stars with fireworks. Plan ahead, and we will provide the picnic and lawn chairs. Our favorite musical event, perhaps our favorite event of the entire year, is the internationally renowned and respected Bach Festival held in North Conway every August since 1989. If you are a Bach lover, this is your chance to indulge yourself at the concerts and come home to Brookhill and listen to our extensive library of Bach's music. And for theater lovers, we have three live theaters, two in North Conway and one in nearby Tamworth village.

Of course New Hampshire's tax-free shopping is always popular at charming shops in North Conway village, antique and art galleries, and factory outlet centers. And fine dining abounds. One of New England's best restaurants with an award-winning wine selection is the 1785 Inn and Restaurant, a 2-minute walk down our long driveway.
