Lighthouse Inn Bed & Breakfast and Cottages

Each room (featured below) has a private bath, feather-like king- or queen-size bed, a gas or electric fireplace, air conditioning, ceiling fan, easy chair or couch, radio, alarm clock and reading lamps. The Whitehead Light room also features a single-person whirlpool tub and separate entrance with private patio.

Each room has a selection of toiletries and a hair dryer. An iron, ironing board and sewing kits are available.

Rollaways are available for a third person 10 or older in a room. The Boston Light room has a futon that can pull out into a double bed. There is a $30 charge per night for a third person in a room.

Prices are for single or double occupancy, and do not include the 9% New Hampshire lodging tax.

Special group rates are available for booking all five rooms, except during peak periods. There are no age restrictions during such bookings.

Free wireless internet access throughout the Inn.

All rooms are conveniently located on one floor with only 12 steps to reach the entrance, so there are no stairs to climb once inside.

In our spacious Great Room, guests can sit by the wood-burning fireplace, watch TV, play at the game table or just enjoy the view from the bay window replicating the Mount Washington cruise ship wheelhouse.

Whitehead Light Room

Boston Light Room

Our country room, the largest room at the inn, is fit for a king. It features a king-size bed, allergy free "feather" bed mattress, private bath with tub shower, AC, sitting area with a futon that opens into a double bed for a 3rd-4th person and gas fireplace. It has all the touches of the original private home complete with built in bookshelves and antiques.

Boon Island Light Room

This beautifully decorated room with bright colors has a built in writing nook, king-size bed with an allergy free "feather" bed mattress, large padded bench, AC, electric fireplace, an eye-catching carousel on the wall above the bed and private bath with full shower with tub.

Matinicus Rock Light Room

Relax in style on this queen-size sleigh bed topped with an allergy free "feather" mattress. The room also features an electric fireplace, AC, a large quilt on the wall and private bath with full shower and tub.

Portland Head Light Room

A warm wood paneled room with country charm. There are brass twin beds, both with an allergy free "feather" bed mattress, an electric fireplace and private shower. The twin beds can be easily converted into a king-size bed if you wish.

In addition to our Bed & Breakfast Inn, we are now offering comfortable and newly renovated one- and two-bedroom cottages on Paugus Bay at Weirs Beach in a semi-secluded section with no through traffic off busy Route 3. Our four cottages can accommodate four to seven people depending on the unit. Each cottage has kitchen facilities, air conditioning, deck or patio with gas grill and table and chairs, cable TV, gas fireplace and free wireless internet access. They are all a few steps from a private beach and in-ground swimming pool, and only minutes away from the many activities available in the Lakes Region.

Weekly and partial week rentals are available. A 10% discount is available on multiple day rentals during May, September and October, except for Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day weekend and NASCAR weekend.

The cottages open in early May and close in late October. Please check with us for the dates.

This cozy cottage sleeps four and is located the closest to the private beach. Includes a queen size bed in the bedroom, and a trundle in the living room that opens into two single beds. Amenities include kitchen facilities, AC, gas grill with table and chairs on the deck, cable TV, free wireless and a gas fireplace.

This two bedroom cottage is the closest to the in-ground pool. Queen size bed in one bedroom, and bunk beds in the other. There is a pullout queen in the living room. This quaint, knotty pine cottage has kitchen facilities, gas grill on the deck with table and chairs, free wireless and cable TV.

$150 daily, $900 weekly

This modernized two-bedroom cottage is the largest cottage and can sleep seven. It has a queen-size bed in one bedroom, 2 double beds in the other bedroom with a single bunk bed atop one of them. It has kitchen facilities, gas grill on the deck with table and chairs, cable TV, AC, free wireless, a gas fireplace and a view of the water from the living room.

$175 daily/ $1050 weekly rate

This beautifully renovated cottage has two bedrooms and can accommodate five guests. Queen size bed in one bedroom with cathedral ceiling, twin beds in the other bedroom, and a single pullout couch in the living room. Amenities include kitchen facilities, AC, gas grill on the patio with table and chairs, free wireless, cable TV and a gas fireplace.
